This Monday, Irapuato woke up with high rates of violence, in 5 hours 6 people have been killed in three armed attacks, in which two women were also seriously injured.

The first event was recorded at 4:20 in the morning at the intersection of Pedro Moreno and Emiliano Zapata streets, in the Constitución neighborhood of Apatzingán. A few blocks from the XII Military Region.

At this point, an armed criminal cell entered a home and inside executed the father of the family. Not satisfied, they located their two sons, dragged them out into the street and in the middle of the road, they were also shot dead.

In this place, a woman identified as Guadalupe, 23, sister and daughter of the three victims who lost their lives, was injured.

The deceased were identified as Martín Otero Mendoza, 57, and his sons Jesús Fernando, 27 years old and Edgar Mauricio, 17.

At 9:00 in the morning there was a second attack. This happened on Benito Juárez Street, in the Azteca neighborhood, also a few blocks from the military camp.

At this point, an armed group entered a house and inside, shot two men and left a woman seriously injured. The woman was taken to a hospital in a Red Cross ambulance.

Approximately 20 minutes later, a third attack was recorded at the intersection of Rey Sol and Rey Ahuizotl streets, in the Los Reyes neighborhood. In this place, armed men intercepted a man who was walking around the place. Once they had him in their sights, they killed him with 5 bullets.

There were no arrests in any of the three attacks.
