"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
The violence in Tijuana has already claimed the lives of 1,340 people since the beginning of the year. Of the 1,340 intentional homicides carried out in the city, 128 correspond to August according to statistics from the state authority with cut off on the morning of Tuesday, August 24.
The authority revealed that within 24 hours, a total of 6 people were killed in different parts of the city.
The State Security and Investigation Guard reports the location of several deceased people, on August 23, 2021, in the city of Tijuana.

Deceased: Unidentified male of 45-50 years old. 45-year-old male injured.

ReplyDeleteHaving spent years visiting Tijuana from So. CA in the 70's I would be interested to know a bit of background on when the real Crap started hitting the fan there? It was such a great vacation stop growing up and I loved it. Now I would be terrified.
