The State Prosecutor's Office reported the capture of Tomás "N", alias "El Tom", "El Tomas", or "El Tommy", a subject they were looking for for a homicide and who according to the investigations would be "head of the plaza" of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) that operated in colonies of Tlaquepaque and Guadalajara.

The state prosecutor, Gerardo Octavio Solís Gómez, reported that the 31-year-old man is identified as responsible for a murder registered in the Jardines de Santa María neighborhood. He said that, according to the investigations, within the criminal organization he is considered the first level of command.

“He was charged with maintaining control and keeping areas of rival groups at bay, it is a very relevant matter for the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, since it is considered that it may be related to some other events. All precautions have been taken at the time here at the State Prosecutor's Office ”, he explained.

According to the prosecutor's report, the detainee had a group of hitmen under his command and operated several safe houses in the Cerro del Cuatro area, Polanco, Polanquito; 5 de Mayo, El Refugio, Guadalupe Ejidal, Lomas del Cuatro, Las Terrazas, El Vergel, Del Carmen, Las Juntas, Miravalle, Fovissste Miravalle and part of Tlaquepaque.

It was detailed that when he was captured, they assured him a firearm, 12 rounds, marijuana and a vehicle.
