In the central area of Guadalupe, Zacatecas police elements managed to reach and apprehend two armed men allegedly responsible for a murder in the community of Sauceda de la Borda
The murder of a man in the community of Sauceda de la Borda belonging to the municipality of Vetagrande, Zacatecas resulted in a persecution between police and armed men that culminated in the center of the municipal capital of Guadalupe, where police elements managed to arrest two men.
At approximately six o'clock this Wednesday afternoon, armed men murdered a man in the community of Sauceda de la Borda, then fled aboard a gray Ford Lobo truck, which security elements followed through the cameras of the C5. An intense operation was immediately deployed to apprehend them.
The truck arrived at Metropolitan Boulevard in the direction of the Zacatecan capital and, near the Rincón Colonial neighborhood, entered Military College Avenue when elements of the Municipal Police of Guadalupe were chasing them, the armed men began to shoot at them.
The police elements repelled the aggression and continued the persecution until they were reached and arrested and secured the truck.
In the pursuit, a patrol of the State Preventive Police hit the perimeter wall of the eleventh military zone, causing damage to the body.
The detainees, the van, weapons and other evidence assured were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office of the State, which is already carrying out the corresponding investigations.
