Fresnillo, Zacatecas: 8 Men Found Hanged Across Several Communities

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

At 07:00 this Tuesday, a strong security operation was deployed in three communities of this municipality. Eight hanging bodies were located, three of them hanging from a bridge and the other five from two trees.

Fear, sadness, crying and despair accompanied dozens of inhabitants of the San José de Lourdes community who witnessed the horrific scene when they saw the bodies of three men suspended from a rope tied to the railing of the road bridge located at the exit to the Montemariana community.

The bodies were partially nude, with signs of torture, one of them had half of his body covered with a sack that resembled a skirt.

In that place, elements of the National Guard (GN), State Preventive Police (PEP) and personnel of the Attorney General's Office of the State (FGJE) deployed several elements to protect the area and remove the inhabitants from the place, however, they remained at the site until the bodies were removed.

Relatives of the three men went to the exit of the town to interview the elements of the Investigation Police and confirm that they were their relatives.

It was the same neighbors of that town who comforted the mother of one of them, after hearing the terrible news and personally witnessing what happened, she burst into tears embraced by a person who accompanied her.

Not far from that place, on the road that leads from this community to Montemariana, in front of where garbage from nearby communities is deposited, three other bodies of semi nude men were hung on a tree with signs of trauma to the body.

The bodies had the same characteristics of torture as those that were hung on the bridge, however, on the tree was the image of a Christ in the middle of the three corpses.

While the authorities' investigations were being carried out, the road was closed in both directions keeping people who travel that road stranded for more than an hour.

At about the same time, on the state road that connects the San Ignacio and San Gabriel communities, two more bodies were found hanging from the branch of a tree at the foot of the road.

According to police sources, it was an elderly person and his grandson, both inhabitants of the San Ignacio community, this information was declared by relatives, who identified them.

The investigations, the collection of the evidence and the eight bodies were carried out by the staff of the General Directorate of Expert Services, who arrived at the three crime scenes to pack the tests for analysis and gather the bodies and take them to their facilities, where forensic doctors will perform an autopsy on each corpse, and then hand them over to their relatives.

Each one of these black men killed three or more police officers. I ain't
saying it's right. But black people get tired of being pushed around and decide to even the score.
