Juan Antonio, alias “El Pizarro”, the regional leader of a Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generation (CJNG) group was arrested by police officers in the city of Veracruz within the state of the same name.
State police officers were on a routine patrol within the El Lago neighborhood of Veracruz city when they noticed a vehicle was parked, obstructing traffic.
Police began to approach the vehicle blocking the road which was a white Chevrolet Suburban SUV. A man who was standing next to the SUV pulled out a firearm upon seeing the police patrol car advance towards him and opened fire. Officers pulled out their firearms and they began issuing verbal commands demanding the man drop his firearm. After a tense moment, the subject complied, placing his firearm on the ground and submitted to being arrested by the officers.
Both the man and the vehicle were searched by police, which led to the discovery of another short barrel firearm, ammo, a taped up package of marijuana, a tactical vest, a helmet, and 20,000 pesos ($938 USD).
The arrested man was later discovered to be Juan Antonio ‘N’, alias “El Pizarro”. The detainee is accused of being an important operator of a CJNG cell that operates in the municipalities of Manlio Fabio Altamirano, Jamapa, Medellín and Veracruz, all lie within the state of Veracruz.
How many wanna bet, he will be out after paying a bribe. The minute he pointed a gun at officers, they should have shot him. Unfortunately now, he will be let out, the back door.
