The General Prosecutor's Office of the State (FGJE) confirmed that in the last hours 11 bodies were found in the municipalities of Fresnillo and Zacatecas, males and females.

Last night, a report was received through 911 over deceased bodies in the vicinity of the Resurrección cemetery in Fresnillo, on the road that leads to Jerez.

Authorities corroborated the discovery of 6 bodies wrapped in blankets; The crime scene was processed and the corpses transferred to the forensic medical service for the corresponding protocols.

Once the bodies were processed, the prosecution said, it was determined that they correspond to 6 men, which are currently listed as unidentified.

The necropsy of law has already been initiated and all the necessary data for the prompt identification of the victims were collected.

This morning the finding of corpses on the road that leads to the community Picones, municipality of Zacatecas was reported.

Forensic experts and police personnel went to the crime scene, it was confirmed that there were 5 females wrapped in blankets, the application of the research protocol in case of femicide was initiated. 

Prosecutor's Office reported that the cadavers were transferred to the forensic medical service for the processing. Along with the necessary necropsy protocol reports.
