"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
In Tecate, Baja California while cutting his hair Danny Isaac Ortiz Covarrubias alias "El Moreno" was murdered. He was a former leader for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel in this border municipality.
The events occurred at a barber shop in the Guajardo neighborhood. The business owner narrated to police that he was cutting the victims hair when suddenly a man entered the establishment. The perpetrator approached his client and then shot him in the head. Afterwards he fled the area right away.
Municipal police officers confirmed the identity of the victim who has long been sought by the authorities from the three levels of government. The deceased was accused of drug trafficking. As well as the theft of fuel from Pemex.

Delete741 Chivis was fed up with doing the filtering herself. That was the system in place. She said it herself,, she was tired of the BS. Sol, understandably doesn't want to waste his time with the filtering as it's time consuming and he nor any of the other admins are being paid. I could be wrong but I think the options are, open the flood gates and allow all comments while the reader decides to ignore the dumb stuff or close the comments all together.
