National Guard elements from the 25th Military Zone carried out a preventive tour in San Martín Texmelucan. During their patrol they located a group of armed people who, noticing the presence of National Guard personnel, began to flee.

Immediately an operation was activated that culminated in the capture of 9 civilians. Of which 8 are men and 1 woman. 

Items within the seizure: 

13 long weapons

3 grenades (.40 caliber)

34 magazines (25 of them loaded)

8 ballistic vests

15 vehicles

and 12 motorcycles. 

The events occurred in the vicinity of the town. And the detainees as well as the evidence will be made available to the federal authority.
