The Attorney General of Mexico City reported that they arrested José 'N', alias 'Manu Vaquita', allegedly involved in the murder of Aristóteles Sandoval, former governor of Jalisco.
In collaboration with the Attorney General of the State of Jalisco, the agents of the Investigative Police, assigned to the Coordination of Compliance and Execution of Judicial Orders, completed the arrest warrant in the Cuauhtémoc mayor's office, for the events that occurred in 2020.
Once the agents confirmed the identity of the suspect, he was transferred to the Central Strategic Investigation Prosecutor's Office, where they will issue his medical certificate before being handed over to the Jalisco authorities, who put him at the disposal of the judge who required him in Puerto Vallarta.
Agents of the #FGJCDMX, in collaboration with FGE personnel from the state of Jalisco, apprehended a man wanted in that entity for his probable participation in the crime of qualified homicide, which occurred in 2020. FJCDMX
What do the authorities accuse 'Manu Vaquita' of?
The investigations indicate that on December 18, 2020, 'Manu Vaquita' participated in the firearm injuries that Aristóteles Sandoval received inside a bar in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, which caused his death.
For this reason, the accused had two arrest warrants for the crimes of aggravated homicide and concealment.Jalisco Prosecutor's Office announces capture of alleged murderer of Aristóteles Sandoval For its part, the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office also shared the news of the capture of one of those involved in the murder of Aristóteles Sandoval, through its official Twitter account. In this, Luis Joaquín Méndez Ruíz confirmed the collaboration between both entities, as well as the crimes for which they point to 'Manu Vaquita'. To date, the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office has obtained 13 sentences from a judge for the crime of cover-up, for altering the crime scene of the aforementioned case.
Who was Aristotle Sandoval?
Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval Díaz was born on January 22, 1974 in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He finished a law degree at the University of Guadalajara and did a master's degree in Public Policy and Management at the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESO).
From 2001 to 2003, Sandoval Díaz was a city councilman in Guadalajara, later a local deputy in Jalisco.
He also held the position of municipal president between 2010 and 2012, this last year he requested leave to run for the governorship of Jalisco, a position where he served between 2013 and 2019.

535 of all the times I've gone to mexico,( 6 last year) and once this year, I have been fortunate enough to not witness any violence. How many mutilated bodies have you personally witnessed? You're over here promoting these scenes as if all you have to do is buy a ticket, jump on a tour buss and drive down to the slaughter house... If I go to Mexico next week can you gaurantee I will see what you describe?
