Colombia: Narcos From The CJNG Planned Crimes While Dancing Salsa At A Discotheque

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Salsa Club was the spot where Colombian drug traffickers received Mencho's messengers; the party was an eternal one with dancing and alcohol: "Ready to serve the up and coming people from Mexico, whatever they ask for, give them the best"

The Castro Gómez brothers, Colombian drug traffickers allied with the CJNG.

Colombian media and local police disclosed the base of operations, where Colombian and Mexican drug traffickers did business. The place was known as Salsa Club, the nightclub where the local capos received the messengers of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias El Mencho, leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). The Mencho operators planned their crimes and hits while dancing to salsa.

According to the Informador.mx portal, on Friday, October 31, 2020, the Colombian brothers Álvaro Uriel Castro Gómez, nicknamed El Machete; and Robin Alirio, El Gordo, gave orders to club employees and dancers to provide special treatment to the CJNG mob: "Give a special accommodation to the up and coming people from Mexico, whatever they ask for, give them the best service."

The disco establishment served only as a front for the Castro Gómez brothers to launder money and coordinate the transfer of drugs to Mexico, the United States and Canada; through semi-submersibles loaded with cocaine that crossed the Pacific Ocean, from the San Juan de la Costa resort.

It should be noted that Colombian and US agents infiltrated the club the same night that the Castro Gómez and Mencho's envoys confirmed their alliance to establish a network that would allow them to take more cocaine to Mexico and the United States by sea.

It is important to mention that Robin Alirio, El Gordo, was imprisoned in the United States, where he served a 10-year sentence, he was deported to Colombia. Immediately he got in touch with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
