"HEARST" and "Itzli" for Borderland Beat
After the shooting in Celaya, Guanajuato which left 10 victims dead, an audio recording of an alleged Cártel de Santa Rosa de Lima (CSRL) hitman justifying the attack has emerged online.

As covered yesterday in this story, a shooting occurred on May 23, 2022 in the city of Celaya which left ten dead. Multiple CSRL signs left at the crime scene claimed responsibility for the attack.
The signs alleged the victims were killed for “supporting the Jaliscan whores”, referring to members of the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) as well as the victim’s alleged involvement “with the 3 bagged ones.”
Now a new audio clip of an alleged CSRL justifying the shooting has been shared online by cartel twitter accounts like El Blog de Los Guachos. The man in the recording says the following, as translated by Itzli:

Who are the “three bagged ones”?
The CSRL signs left near the shooting mentions the “three bagged ones” which refers to three deceased and dismembered individuals who were found just the day before the shooting.
These remains were discovered on Camelia street, near the corner of Fresno Street, within the Lindavista neighborhood of Celaya, the same neighborhood where the shooting occured. The executed individuals were discovered by locals on Monday, May 23, 2022 at around 1:00 am, less than 24 hours before the shooting.
The bags were wrapped in duct tape and a message was left on fluorescent green poster board. An image which is alleged to depict the remains has appeared online. The message reads as follows, as translated by Itzli:

You're exactly right. Celaya municipality was arguably where CSRDL the most ingrained and there are very strong rumors and indications that collusion is occurring now with CJNG which is leading to CSRDL increasingly lashing out against police and government officials.
