Gunman executes two priests and a neighbor in the Catholic temple of Urique
The crime wave in Chihuahua is out of control and has now entered even the religious temples.
Two priests and a resident of Cerocahui were shot to death in the town's church, located in the ravine bordering Sinaloa.
A man chased by gunmen took refuge in the parish, where two priests came out to protect him.
But the murderer, far from containing himself, first killed the persecuted individual and then shot the 2 men of God who came out to defend him.
In a statement, the Government of the State of Chihuahua condemned the events.
The thug has not been arrested.
Two priests and a layman are murdered inside a church, in the Sierra Tarahumara of Chihuahua. A crime allegedly committed by the leader of a criminal organization unofficially identified as José Noriel Portillo Gil "El Chueco" who is wanted.
