Three clandestine laboratories for the production of synthetic drugs were seized in the communities of El Tecomate, San Miguel de las Mesas and Cucuyachi, belonging to the municipality of Culiacán.
The Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) informed that the drug laboratories were seized on July 9 and 10 and where the following were seized:
In the laboratory found in the town of El Tecomate, 234 containers of various capacities, five organic synthesis reactors and two condensers, in the facilities of San Miguel de las Mesas: 50 kilograms of caustic soda, 18 containers of various capacities, two organic synthesis reactors and in the site of the town of Cucuyachi, 200 liters of acetone, 22 containers of various capacities, an organic synthesis reactor with condenser and a distiller.
"The seized material was disqualified and placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, thus preventing this type of places from being used for the production of synthetic drugs that affect the health and integral development of the Mexican youth".
With these laboratories, a total of more than 770 laboratories have been seized in Sinaloa during the current administration.
