The US government has released the original arrest warrant for Caro Quintero, issued in 1987. At the time, he was in Mexican custody already. |
Finally, after 35 years, the United States government declassified the arrest warrant against Rafael Caro Quintero, former leader of the Guadalajara cartel, for the murder of Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Mexican pilot Alfredo Zavala.
The document had remained secret since 1987 when the government of that country revealed that it would initiate a formal accusation against the drug trafficker for his participation in the torture and murder of Camarena.
The arrest warrant weighs against him today, where you can see the passage of time: the font in cursive newspaper type and the ink stains that were written on May 13, 1987, in Los Angeles, California. A document that has become history.
In it you can read for the first time that he is accused first of violent crimes with the help of organized crime, aiding and abetting and assisting in crime, murder of a federal agent, and kidnapping of a federal agent, in that order.
The judge who ordered the arrest at that time was the United States Magistrate, Venetta S. Tossopulos. The arrest warrant is numbered 2518 and will be vital in trying to extradite Rafael Caro Quintero to a federal court. So far in two cases, there are crimes against him: California and New York.
Today the judge of the Central District of California, John A. Kronstadt approved the declassification after 35 years of remaining under lock and key. He said the following: “Based on a review of the government's request to open the arrest warrant, good cause for requesting it has been shown. Therefore, the request regarding the arrest warrant for defendant Rafael Caro Quintero is granted.”

Damn I’m starting to believe that Mayo Zambada Gave Up RCQ so his son can get a free even trade. First was Mayo’s oldest son with chapo and now Mayito Gordo for RCQ Dea wanted RCQ so bad.
ReplyDeleteHow can he do that if RCQ got caught in Beltran territory,Lemo to be exact
DeleteGive up on that garbage the CIA is not working with Mexican drug cartels. You brainless fucks
DeleteThis ain't a novela.
Delete6:08 no mames, theres some greedy MF out there, lets just say they just turn a blind eye for a greater purpose
Delete5:58pm Not quite. There is a home where Caro would go to every two months or so in Guasave to rest and relax thanks to Mr. Isidro. Correct Guasave, not Bamoa which is Mr. Isidro main área for secure protection. Government knew where he was at all times.
DeleteWhoever turns him in, good luck getting the rewards. Sure it will be a death wish showing yourself on tv collecting the rewards check. Lol
Delete@632am those rewards never get paid out. There are individuals who informed on high ranking taliban/Al Qaeda leaders who are still trying to get the money.
DeleteTo think US federal agents don’t work with cartels is some seriously simple minded dumb isht. If they’ll give Sammy Gravano multiple passes they’re open to anything. They had Osiel talking to dismantle the Golfos until recently so he only got 25. I’m sure he didn’t pay the 50M they wanted either. I have a family member that got more than him and OC moved tons. Not to be critical but come on now.
ReplyDeleteWow right when I was born
ReplyDeleteThought you were in your 50s lol but you can never tell around here I guess.
DeleteMexico knew were Caro Quintero was at all times. The U.S wanted him as a trophy, so I’m sure Mexico used him as leverage to smooth out AMLO’s stupidity in trying to to play hardball with the DEA.
ReplyDeleteYour useless opinion matters! ☺
