Fentanyl is the most lethal drug ever created. News 4 spent months looking into how it impacts the St. Louis community, where it comes from, and what can be done to alter its deadly path.
Pos Street gangs. One of the highest murder rates in the country. A lot of Mexican DTOs in Kansas and Missouri. Center of the country so makes for a good place to ship out of.
6:57 China ships precursor chemicals by the ton to Mexico, not the USA. You want to hear something funny. AMLO has military stationed at the container ports. Yes after paying bribes the chemicals from China keep coming in
Since Im unable to make better conclusions, is easier to conclude that Mexico is the culprit for anything and everything. USA is just a poor victim. :(
1:51 there are accomplices, but you can't blame a whole country for the shit of a few... Remember the Nazis claiming they cuz just following orders? Nuremberg rebuked their claims and that is the law now, but no bgg ody blames every german for the shit of their armies and politicians.
I live in the Lou and the shit is tearing down the city. Open air drug markets everywhere. Most people stay out of the city cause you get your car stolen , robbed or worse. The Murder rate here is insane. Every weekend on the news 10-20 people killed fighting over territory
I’m from St Louis metro area. 10-20 every weekend is an exaggeration but 5-7 is pretty accurate. Mostly black street gangs but there is cartel presence over the River in fairmont city. Good portion of any of the cartels product gets brought down from Chicago.
Guns and Drugs pushed and used by the most poor broke ass derrelicts who don't know north from south anymore or never even finished high school originate with republican businessmen since VP Richard Nixxon lost to kennedy for President... In revenge for democrats like FDR and ANTIFA beating the Nazis in the US of A and europe
For decades doctors have been handing out opiate painkillers the candy, the US pharmaceutical industry has been influencing politicians, blue and red!!!! All the time you tell about trade and economics...And then when you get presented the result you go BMW and blame china and mexico.
That only happened for a relatively short period of time (late 90s/early 2000s) but these days most young people don’t know what it’s like to get pharma grade opioids so easily. Heroin and fentanyl have been much easier to get than prescription painkillers for years and now even heroin is becoming harder and harder to get.
@10:27 yessir, I work with a local probation department in the Southwest, and can tell you that a large number of defendants get into drugs because they needed opiates from their doctor, after accidents, health issues, you name it. After they stopped providing the prescription, they turn to heroins fentanyl, etc. And get hooked to them. From there, it's an easy way to start stealing everything you can to get your fix. Real sad.
12:16 people end up coming to the streets to buy cheap ass drugs after they lose everything due to legal prescriptions... But soon after they die on their designated streets, real estate moguls come with their billion dollar grants from government and Tax Exemptions City Hall can absolutely not afford to gentrificate the area, and put a trump tower or affiliated casino full of promises for the police...
The junkies want to get their next hit, I noticed an uptick, in my neighborhood. That cars parked on the street in the daytime are getting broken into for items left in cars. To sell for drugs.
Right now fentanyl is hitting USA hard. and no end in sight. There are Youtube videos of Fentanyl zombies from almost everywhere. Most of the comments to these videos show degrees of sadness, and compassion, and need for treatment. However, few comments on issues with Mexican narco and related activities (people smuggling, money laundering, etc, etc). It is as if the big elephant in the room is dumping huge turds and we just complain about the smell while we collect the turds and cart them away on a daily basis. Orale, pendejos noten el elefante en el cuarto. pendejos! P.S. #1 I suspect, not seeing the fentanyl elephant in the room is due to corruption of politicians and profiting agents in our American societal systems..... PS#2. Wait until fentanyl zombies become materially significant issues in Mexico, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, even among Eskimos... then what? Mexico-watcher
I wonder if Mexico ever will get hit with the fentanyl epidemic like the U.S. and Canada. I know they’re hit fairly hard by meth these past several years but I’m not sure if fent as a market will ever catch on there.
Work with Homeless peeps in Seattle. In 2019 those pills were $20. In 2021, those pills were $8 - $10...$5 if you knew someone. Now they are $2 - $3. End result is a huge habit is cheap and some sick mofo's running around trying to get well.

Delete1:22 PM the most gun violent states are those with the weakest gun laws. Alaska, Alabama, Mississippi, etc. So stop with the lame blame game.
