Reynosa, Tamaulipas: City’s Viaduct Converted Into Dumping Grounds For Corpses

On a dirt road that connects the Reynosa Viaduct with the Rincón de las Flores neighborhood, a body was found that was burned along with used tires.

When the police authorities arrived, the tires were still lit.

Although the report was recorded around noon at the 911 Emergency Center, it was not until after 4:30 p.m. that it was located by elements of the State Police. They cordoned off the place until the arrival of personnel from the Attorney General's Office from Tamaulipas.

The body was found on the side of the dirt road, about 200 meters from the Reynosa Viaduct.

The authorities indicated that it could be the body of a male person.

Elements of Firefighters came to extinguish the tires that were still burning and thus allow elements of the Attorney General's Office to carry out the ministerial tasks in the place.

Some social networks reported that a body was being burned on the dirt road to the Rincón de las Flores neighborhood, they indicated that it was a man who was wearing blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

They pointed out that there was a black Chevrolet Trail Blazer, in addition to the fact that a man and a woman could be seen and that the tires were on fire. 

A bagged body was disposed of

On one side of the Reynosa Viaduct, the body of a man in a state of decomposition was found bagged

It was local garbage collectors who located the body and notified the authorities.

The discovery was recorded around 5:00 p.m. yesterday about 100 meters from the access to the dirt road  that leads to the Las Anacuas community and about 2 kilometers from Las Torres Avenue, near the Ramón Pérez neighborhood.

Wrapped in a black plastic bag, only one of his lower extremities could be seen, where a black tennis shoe with white soles could be seen, the body of the victim was less than a meter away from the asphalt road. 

The victim's body had been in the place for more than 48 hours, due to the state of decomposition it presented.
