Through various videos on social networks it is possible to observe the clashes of armed civilians in the streets

Intense shootings were reported in Tuzantla, Michoacán as well as the burning of a gas station.

Intense shootings were reported in Tuzantla, Michoacán, preliminary information indicates that these actions are derived from an alleged breakup of the criminal leaders known as El Chaparro and Johnny Hurtado El Pez from the Michoacana Family. The actions were registered in the municipal seat.

Intense shootings in the center of the municipal seat have generated terror in the Michoacan municipality.

In one of the videos it is possible to hear various detonations of firearms and in other recordings civilians with long weapons can be seen in the streets.

    3. Outside of Tiquicheo there is an entire battalion. From Tiquicheo to Tuzantla it's 31 miles (50 km) but due to the winding roads one probably goes around 25 - 30 mph max so it probably took them about 1 hour at best to get there..add the time to get ready..30 more minutes and what not. Now if they were coming from Zitacuaro it is about 34 miles (3 more miles) but it would take 1.5 hours because the roads are even worse..like 15 - 25 mph at best. Give or take 30 more minutes to get ready.

This is greatly appreciated. Any information that you can add to this story would be greatly appreciated as well. The most important thing is that you and your family stay safe. If you can safely keep your ear to the ground and add to this, we would all be deeply appreciative.

Great pictures. Thanks. Do you know how long it took authorities to respond after the gunfire started? Do you know if any of the criminals were captured?

  7. The media is reporting 8 deaths. Noventagrados is reporting that a local leader was threatened yesterday. They also state that there was a strong presence of SEDENA early Tuesday morning. This was through google translate. Maybe someone can give us a better translation of the Noventagrados story dated August 23.

I don't know if he was collecting piso. Noventagrados is reporting that he refused to collect piso. A poster here has family in the area and he did submit 3 of the above photos. I am hoping that he can give us some more insight into the situation on the ground. Obviously, if he can't do this in a manner that endangers his family, it's better that he not provide us with any updates. We will have to wait to see if we get any more input from people in the area.

  11. A Michoacanos worst enemy is another michoachango. Ni entre ellos mismos se quieren. I'm pretty sure the gun fight started when one michoachango asked the other michoachango where they were from and one responded with "Tuzuntla Vali" and the other with "Tzintzuntzan Vali"... and the rest is history.

    2. Como son de pendejos. Who is the government backing. Are we reading the same articles on this website. Do you guys suffer from selective comprehension? All the cartels are getting hit. Just this month 167 assholes from pueblos unidos were disarmed. The autodefensas have been infiltrated, they're a part of the cartels.

    7. 6:41 where's the reddit kids that say, but they shot them for a reason.
No reason at all on this, just plain fun, for the camera shooting innocent, law enforcement won't even twitch on this one, this one will never reach Amlo desk, it will be fully read by us, after 5 days, at the back burner and forgotten.

    1. I don't understand how any cartel doesn't murk any coward that kills a defenseless baby, kid, etcetera!!! Especially if they're laying down on the ground or kneeling with their hands behind their head!!! What do they accomplish by doing sh@#¡ like that besides showing how weak, small minded and cowardly they really are? If they think that by doing garbage like that is going to make their rivals get out the game or cooperate with them then they're retards. Cartels for the most part not only frowned on such cowardice before, consequences by their own team was common. I remember when BLO and CDS split, a CDS member's wife or sister (I think Nacho Coronel) , who had nothing to do with that life, got killed by BLO , and the individual went and kidnapped a high ranking BLO member's wife. A couple of days or so later they found her on the road unharmed with a narco manta stating "I could have killed your wife to, but I don't get down like that, I don't mess with innocent people. This is between us and I'm going to handle this as a man. Here's your wife back unharmed."... Now that's how a man goes about it! That guy has my utmost respect. It would be nice if some of these individuals learned from this man and/or if the cartels went back to handing out some consequences for those that participate in those kind of acts. There's no honor, courage, or valor harming unarmed and defenseless innocent people, they are not involved in that lifestyle, especially babies and children. Uno que tiene huevos will go look for his enemy/rival and put it on the line which is how it should be. You chose to live that life, man up and do it with honor, and play the game with those on the court, not with the average joe off it. Act as men.

    1. It doesn't take heart to do that. Stupidity and cowardice is what is needed to harm common folk as part of your daily agenda. Unfortunately it seems to be in surplus these days. May your uncle R.I.P
