  1. 1971 called
    They want their weed back

Does it make sense to send that weed to the usa.
Or is the weed a sacrificial shipment?

  2. This is weird. I was under the impression that bulk weed wasn't even trafficked anymore. Thoughts anyone?

    1. My guess is that this was a supply for the Monterey market. Alternatively, the amount tells me it is too big for consumption there unless its a regional supply. That far north and in a warehouse can be a sign of export. Mexico has good mid grade strains. They look like high mid grade Californian marijuana or sometimes better. Some is still shipped to the United States. Commercial grade weed that sold before is not feasible anymore but there is still business

    3. It makes sense that its trafficking would go down but not completely. Obviously it’s not gonna totally go away.

True. Even 10 years ago people talked about how Mexican brick weed is not what it ‘once was’. In other words it’s still bad, but not that bad. Not like compared to the 80s and 90s. I did see some in the early 2010s though that was just like straight classic brown dirt weed but only one time.

I know a family over in California from Oaxaca whose son bought a bunch of shitty weed because they wanted to make ointment out of it for pain or something.

    5. 5:06 There is very much a way. It is on par with Greenhouse Californian marijuana. It had great trichomes, deep purple hues, and a fine trim. Mexican hands have always grown good weed. Not everything there is the old commercial brick quality that U.S. competitors sabotaged it as. Remember California has many Mexican growers too. They have been doing it since the 1800s. Before the hippies and hillbillies of Northern California. It's just the standard that changed. Technology shifted it

    6. 6:32 I remember that. It was still seen here and there. The Colorado legalization in 2012 was the final blow. I can't speak for the 80's and 90's. I would like to know more about that. I know the 00s was flooded with Mexican brick weed. Not all of it had seeds. I would think that smuggling it was what sometimes damaged the quality because of the obvious crushing and delays, making it dry.

That's interesting he would go that far for that. Some people just want a reasonable effect. It's said Oaxaca has a great strain. Michoacán does too, a Sativa called Verde Limon. A very nice light green hue on it

  3. It was probably being sold to towns not far from that area. Mexican weed is still being sold to its citizens. May not be as profitable as it once was but still a good market for it in Ol'e Mexico.
