A video surveillance camera outside of a commercial establishment captured the moment when the victim was abducted.

Ricardo Mejia Berdeja, undersecretary of Public Safety of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that yesterday in Huehuetoca, State of Mexico, the rescue of a minor was achieved who had been kidnapped on October 10 and for whom assailants demanded a ransom of 4 million pesos.

The official explained in the press conference of President Andres Manuel Lopez that the arrest of seven people was achieved who are allegedly responsible for this crime.

Several armed subjects kidnapped a child when he was walking to school while holding his mother's hand.

On the morning of Monday, October 10, a video surveillance camera placed in a commercial establishment that marked 07:55 hours, captured the moment when the victim was walking with his mother a few streets from the municipal palace of Huehuetoca, meters behind another woman also accompanied by a minor.

Suddenly, a maroon car parked and a couple of hooded men got out of it and, wielding firearms, snatched the child from his mother's arms.

One of the criminals forced the child into the car. Before driving away, his accomplice appeared to say something to the woman, he took her cell phone. He then hit her over the head with the gun and threw the child's backpack at her feet.
