Irapuato, Guanajuato: Police Operations Were Reinforced After The Murder Of 12 People

It was through his Twitter account where the state Governor said that the state government and other security agencies had an operation to strengthen security.

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, reported that after the murder of 12 individuals, occurred in a bar in the 12 de Diciembre neighborhood of Irapuato, several joint operations were implemented in the municipality, which will be coordinated by the state authority to find the perpetrators of this new massacre that occurred in the municipality as soon as possible.

It was through his Twitter account where the Governor said that the State Government, through the Secretariat of Government and the Secretariat of Public Security, had an operation in coordination with the Federal Government and the municipal authority of Irapuato, to strengthen security, after the events that occurred on Saturday night where 12 people lost their lives and three more were injured, according to the official report.

"The aforementioned agencies are already working immediately in joint operations," said the document posted by the governor of Guanajuato.

During Saturday night and early Sunday morning, several cells made up of the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the State Public Security Forces and the Municipal Police patrolled the city. So far there is no information about the possible arrest of the perpetrators of the attack that took the lives of 12 people.

The incident occurred in the bar El Pantano, also known as El Tejano, which operated as a botanero and was located in the 12 de Diciembre neighborhood, one of the areas with the highest incidence of crime in the municipality, that left 12 people dead, six of whom were women and six men.
