Cesar Augusto 'N', alias 'El Gafe' was arrested on October 11 in a joint operation between Sedena and the National Guard; he is linked to the shooting at the Landmark shopping mall. Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, Undersecretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), highlighted this Thursday, October 13, during the presentation of the report 'Zero Impunity' the arrest of Cesar Augusto 'N', alias 'El Gafe', who is linked by authorities to the shooting at the Landmark shopping center in Zapopan, Jalisco, on October 2.

El Gafe' is identified as the alleged regional leader of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG) in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga and El Salto, Jalisco. Mejia Berdeja also informed that he is one of the main generators of violence in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara.

Cesar Augusto 'N' is in charge of the control of cells of drug dealers, as well as hawks and hired killers at the service of the cartel of the four letters.

Mejia Berdeja announced at the National Palace that Cesar Augusto 'N', 'El Gafe', is a relevant target who was arrested last October 11 and "a thousand fentanyl pills, long and short weapons, grenades, cartridges and vehicles were seized".

He also specified that "he is linked to crimes such as homicides and kidnappings, as well as being responsible for the events that took place on October 2 at the Landmark shopping center in Zapopan, which resulted in the death of one person.

The arrest of this member of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation was carried out in a joint operation between the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the National Guard (GN), the National Intelligence Center (CNI) and the Attorney General's Office for Organized Crime of the Attorney General's Office (FGR).

In addition to 'El Gafe', last week authorities arrested and charged two alleged CJNG hitmen arrested for the shooting at the Landmark shopping center in the Puerta de Hierro area of Zapopan, Jalisco.

The detainees are Luis Raúl 'V', 45 years old, and Jonathan Everardo 'T', 23 years old, who were charged by the Public Prosecutor's Office for the events of October 2, when a man lost his life and four civilians were injured by firearm projectiles; the alleged criminals also have injuries, although they are not serious.

The two men acknowledged that they were traveling with other armed individuals in a Honda CRV and a Kia Sportage, both with overlapping license plates, but have not given further statements.

A former military bodyguard, identified as Juan Carlos, originally from Mexico City, who served as a corporal during his military service, was killed in the attack.

    7. 5:28 guanatos and Luis echeverria Alvarez, LEA in laws have everything to do with the cartel de Sinaloa, they were the original members of the Guadalajara cartel that had their paws in Veracruz too, associated with Contra Nicaragûenese that murdered about 30 federal police officers in Sanchez Taboada, Veracruz two presidents later.
The Zunos even had a family member in US prison, he was associated to Caro Quintero and felix gallardo and don Neto.
