A light aircraft secured in Mesa Larga, Guachochi on November 7 during an operation implemented by elements of the Secretary of National Defense in the mountainous region to detect illegal flights was transferred by land to the Chihuahua capital.
This morning it was reported that the light aircraft that was seized during an operation in Mesa Larga, Guachochi municipality on November 7, was transferred by land to the capital city.
The action was carried out by Mexican Army personnel in coordination with the agent of the Attorney General's Office Yolanda Rivas Ramos, and Cristian Andrés Bustos Rodríguez, in charge of the Federal Ministerial Police, and mechanics Jaime Potencian Zárate, Víctor Francisco Barrera Rojas from the General Directorate of Air Services of the Attorney General's Office.
The unit was taken to Chihuahua, where it will be secured by the corresponding authorities, who are conducting investigations into this event.
It should be recalled that it was through the Federal Government's morning press conference, where the Secretary of National Defense, Luis Cresencio Sandoval, informed about two actions carried out in Guachochi, Chihuahua and San Quintín, Baja California.
By means of an operation implemented by elements of the Secretary of National Defense in the mountainous region for the detection of illegal flights, an aircraft was seized in the municipality of Guachochi.
The operation took place on Monday, November 7, when federal authorities identified the flight of a CESSNA light aircraft, which landed on the Mesa Larga airstrip.
For this reason, the elements proceeded to carry out a check, informing that the unit came from South America and had registration number N5409.
So far no further details have been provided about the event in the municipality of Guachochi, the amount of drugs that were seized is unknown, as well as the number of people detained in relation to this event.
