"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
This is what happens on federal highways. Yesterday, an armed criminal cell threatened motorists traveling through Guanajuato on their way towards Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco.
Apparently, they were upset because the vehicle had a camera, the National Guard is supposed to guard the highways.
"Sell the blue meth or we put out your lights"
ReplyDeleteLagos de moreno seems to be hot right now, a lot of dead bodies and kidnappings,so sad, was somehow dangerous a few years ago but since a few months things got worse.
ReplyDeleteLagos has long had big mota distributors. Since the 1980s as a kid we knew who did what and assaults and murders were unheard of back then. Sad what this business has devolved to courtesy of US politicians and gun business that prizes profit above innocents being kidnapped, extorted, raped and intimidated wherever they go. The US gun profiteers are as selfish and cruel as the most evil criminals in the US and Mexico.
DeleteSince the 60s and more the 70s, FEG vs FER wars were full of murdering and grifa because of Guadalajara politicians.
DeleteThey shouldn't have been following the white truck like that. Definitely tailgating.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking they tried to pass the slow moving cartel convoy & they were seen as a threat.
DeleteAgree , they took it as a threat
DeleteTotally agree. What were they thinking following them like that? The real meaning of "all on their bumper"
DeleteThis only show the last part of the video
DeleteYou won't see this on Channel 7.
ReplyDeleteTravel numbers would drop. In December all States in MX are full of nationals from USA VISITING family for Xmas.
DeleteJust horrible man... Good thing the gunmen at least gave them a chance and didn't get off just shooting away. hopefully they let them make it
ReplyDeletewell, they posted the dashcam video somewhere online...
DeleteThat this video got posted speaks for itself. They even let them keep their things
DeleteIf this was the USA and you tailgate like that potentially somebody will road rage, same thing in Mexico.Lol.
ReplyDeleteThat's a federal highway? The two-lane that winds through the cornfields in my jerkwater hometown look bigger.
