"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A random meme goes out online referencing a despicable situation that is currently plaguing motorists in Mexico wherever organized crime prevails. It's author tries to make light of an unfortunate situation by off setting the seriousness of this matter with a simple courtship behavior.
The elephant in the room here are several caltrops aka poncha llantas in the palm of a males left hand. His actions and the headline describe how he can't bring down the stars for his love interest.
But he can at least bring her the caltrops thrown on a paved road by the cheap soup eaters that resemble those stars.
These area denial weapons made out of steel rebar, easily constructed by the most novice of welders, persists as a staple in the inventory of hitmen who effectively put them to use as soon as the vehicle pursuits begin.
