Ovidio ordered the construction of a mansion in the rural area of Culiacán. This is in contrast with the humility of the rest of the homes.
The mansion with red partitions, chandeliers, a wooden gate, palm trees, and lush gardens once welcomed the heir of Chapo Guzman. The compound walls are equipped with troneras, which are shooting holes for the protection of those inside.

The over all population of Jesús María is 2146 persons, 1092 of them are male and 1054 of them are female.
The population of this place consists of 941 minors and 1205 adults, with 190 of them being 60 years and older.

A legal claim on health care and social insurance benefits have 1445 citizens of Jesús María.
Economic situation
In Jesús María exist about 437 households.
Of these households 445 are common houses or apartments, 149 are without floor and about 44 consist of one room only.
314 of the normal households have sanitary installations, 309 are connected to the public water supply, 424 have access to electricity.
The economic situation allows 0 households to own a computer, 235 own a washing machine and 379 households are equipped with one ore more televisions.
School and education in Jesús María
Besides the 173 analphabets aged 15 or older, about 34 minors between 6 and 14 are not visiting a school.
232 inhabitants of the population of 15 years and older did not visit a school and 767 persons did not finish the school. 204 visited only the 6 years lasting primary school, 124 visited and finished the college or similar scholar institutions.
A total of 96 aged 15 to 24 years visited a school, the medium time school is visited through the whole population is 5 years.
