Real Estate Returning to Fernando Arellano Félix

The Federal authorities in Mexico and their alleged fight against crime and drug trafficking brought a new setback from the Federal Judiciary. A District Judge from Jalisco granted the Amparo and protection of the Union justice system to one of the Arellano Félix brothers on his way to recover properties he owned, insured since 1993 in Guadalajara on suspicion of being linked to illegal activities.

The person favored by the ruling issued by Martha Georgina Comte Villalobos, Fourth District Judge of Amparo in Criminal Matters in the State of Jalisco, is Fernando Arellano Félix, one of the members of the family clan of the so-called Tijuana Cartel or Arellano Félix Cartel (CAF ), without being charged in any prior investigation or investigation file like his brothers Benjamin, Eduardo, and Javier, currently in prison in the United States and Mexico; or the murdered Ramón and Francisco Rafael.

The Judge ordered the Federal Public Ministry to issue an order to lift the seizure of two properties in the Providencia neighborhood in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Property 1
2683 José María Heredia Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Property 2
2693 José María Heredia Guadalajara, Jalisco.

There is a property between each.

The real estate has been owned by Fernando for almost 32 years, insured by the then Attorney General's Office (PGR) after the investigations into the murder of Cardinal Juan Jesús Posadas Ocampo and six other people on May 24, 1993.

Both residences were acquired by Fernando, one of the Arellanos' younger brothers, on May 28, 1991. One property from a Mexican businessman and the other from an athlete in the amounts of 235,660,800 pesos and 117,734 400 pesos, respectively, according to data recorded in the deeds issued by the public notary Number 3 in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Luis Ramírez Orozco.

The total purchase for the 25-year-old was 353,395,200 pesos or $18,823,975 today's value
Sidenote, on December 20, 1994, the Mexican peso was devalued, causing a global currency crisis and resulting in a $50 billion IMF bailout of Mexico's economy. This property was purchased at the height of the pesos.

The first townhome is 246.08 square meters (2648.78 sqft), and the second is 245.28 square meters (2,640.17 sqft) in size.

The 1991 purchase transactions show that Fernando was single, with construction being his occupation. He was born on January 26, 1966, living with his parents on Avenida Faro in the Bosques de la Victoria neighborhood in Guadalajara. Fernando Arellano embraced the professional career of an engineer. The properties have been insured since August 9, 1993, by the Federal Public Ministry, within the preliminary inquiry 4384/DGI/93.

Javier above is often mistaken as Ramon.  See the difference below.

The Amparo petitioner has other properties owned by Fernando in the municipalities of Guadalajara and Zapopan, but they are not subject to the Amparo proceeding resolved on this occasion. There are properties on Zafiro street; a house on Avenida Topacio corner Barlovento, both in Residencial Victoria; and commercial premises in Plaza Fiesta Arboledas, Colonia Rinconada de las Arboledas.

Fernando Arellano Félix filed on January 19, 2023. His lawyers offered certified copies of the testimonies of the public deeds tending to accredit the ownership of the properties, one of which, located at Calle José María Heredia number 2693, was -until a few days ago- in possession of the Comprehensive Family Development (DIF) Zapopan as a temporary shelter "Providencia," according to the judicial inspection test carried out on May 31, 2022, for which the agency was recognized as a third party interested.

Also known as "Centro Familias Cercanas," the DIF Zapopan offices advertised food, guidance, and social work services for children and youth. It offered shelter and emergency care; job training services for unemployed, underemployed, or disabled persons; daily child care; adoption counseling and assistance; guidance and psychological support services via telephone. It employed six to ten public servants and service providers.

Summary
Fernando Arellano Félix will get his two properties back. At 25, he did not pay $18,823,975 in 1991 for both. Reader, Detroit informed me that the peso was about 3,000 to 1 dollar before it was revalued in 1993. He probably paid about $120,000 for both properties.

Justice in Mexico is hard to find, but Karma is around.

Fernando is in the Wit Sex program now. He must be doing personal favors for the feds. No wonder they're getting such short sentences.
Do they issue knee pads to the guys in the Wit Sex program?

  11. From what I’ve heard their sister is still very much involved, but once you get so much money from trafficking you spend the rest of your time laundering it and that’s what word is Enedina doing. That’s just second hand info you hear from these comments. And if those properties were valued at anything close to 18 million they are being used to launder money as well. 120,000 sounds more like it.

  13. 8.01. I don't think anybody is saying that, except for one comment about fat wallets, but that was probably aimed more at Chapo and the Trevinos. But yeah you're right. Poverty is no excuse for anything, but when an old powerful family like this do what they did to expand rather than survive it's hard not to hate them more.
