"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
A drug war between local narco gangs in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina has surfaced online.
Several armed gunmen led by Javier "El Rengo" Pacheco, have released a video announcement for residents in the Villa 9 de Julio neighborhood.
The ominous threats of violence on film demands that their rivals under the command of Max Alí Alegre aka Alicho leave the area.
Following this video release prosecutor Carlos Insaurralde, head of the UFI N 3 of San Martín, dispatched police officers to try to stop any possible narco vendetta.
This message goes out to all the residents within the Villa 9 de Julio neighborhood. We hereby announce that the Max organization has 48 hours to leave the area.
Our leader Blas Gómez aka El Gordo said that everyone will be killed with gunfire if they refuse.
No one is to leave their homes on account of the fact that this terrain has a new owner. Our organization has taken control of it without any paperwork involved.
Someone needs a new choreographer.
