"Ivan" for Borderland Beat
Elements of the Mexican Army secured 280 kilograms of possible fentanyl and 720 kilos of controlled drugs in Ahome, which were being transported in a parcel truck from Guadalajara.
The Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) informed that during intelligence work, the agents obtained information about the possible transfer of a drug shipment on board a tractor-trailer belonging to a parcel service, which was coming from Guadalajara, Jalisco, bound for Ciudad Obregón, Sonora.
He added that upon seeing the unit approaching the strategic military security post "El Desengaño", located in Ahome, military personnel proceeded to search it, locating inside 280 kilograms of possible fentanyl and another 720 kilograms of controlled drugs.
The driver and the seized goods were handed over to the competent authorities so that investigations and expert actions could be carried out to determine his legal status and confirm the type and quantity of drugs.
The HAZMAT suits sported by personnel in the second photograph lend an air of the surreal to the confiscation and investigation of that fentanyl.

Yeah have any cops died in Mexico from handling fent in the course of doing their jobs. I’m really just being curious.
DeleteI mean it wasn't just fentanyl..and it's usually done alot with ice seizures too

DeleteNow that is a bust… Where’s the asshole who said CDS doesn’t produce fent? Lol
ReplyDeletePretty sure no one ever said that
DeleteWe don't know it was CDS. Loads from GDL going to AZ and CA have to go up carretera 15 unless they are flown or shipped; and that is a lot of weight for most small planes - except for a Cessna Caravan that travels so slow it would be likely to be intercepted by Mexican authorities.
DeleteSNITCHaloas really going down hill. It’s fair to say they’ve lost all their clout.
ReplyDeleteIs the price of fent and glass going up lately on the street with all the recent busts in Sinaloa, or barely putting a dent on supply?
ReplyDeleteThat’s not what causes prices to go up lol
DeleteEver since Ovidio was arrested all these arrests and drug busts have been happening.
ReplyDeleteThe driver was handed over to Compatent haaaa haaass what a joke
ReplyDeleteProbably filled with dirt and resold the drugs to the streets
ReplyDeleteBunk bad batches throw away but quality passing through not slowing down
