Coahuila: The Cartel del Noreste Beheads A Captive Male

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A contingent of armed hitmen from the Cartel del Noreste (CDN) appear on film in daylight hours. For this broadcast a captive male will narrate before the camera the events that lead to his capture.

Names of guilty parties involved and the illicit narcotics being distributed are spoken aloud on film. The following interrogation has been said to have taken place inside the state of Coahuila.

Video translation is as follows:

Sicario: Whats your full name?

Captive: Jose Torres Lara

Sicario: How old are you?

Captive: 21.

Sicario: Where are you originally from?

Captive: Monclova, Coahuila.

Sicario: Why were you detained?

Captive: Because I was found to have a nexus with a commander from the GATE (Special Weapons and Tactics Group).

Sicario: What is the moniker of the GATES commander?

Captive: He’s known as El Mayor.

Sicario: What does he specialize in besides being a corrupt piece of shit?

Captive: He distributes drugs.

Sicario: Which type of drugs?

Captive: Crystal meth.

Sicario: In which town?

Captive: It’s in the community of Luchana, Coahuila.

Sicario: Who all does he distribute this drug to?

Captive: He has certain delivery points. In addition he also distributes to my cousin.

Sicario: Whats your cousins name?

Captive: Ruben Gonzalez Lara.

Sicario: Is there something that you’d like those pieces of shit to know?

Captive: Don’t get mixed up with those corrupt pieces of shit who are only collecting intel the way they did it with me.

Sicario: Fierro. We are the absolute Operativa Coahuila.

Gunmen all scream: We are the absolute Operativa Coahuila!

Sicario: We are the fucking absolute Northeast Cartel.

Gunmen all scream: We are the fucking absolute Northeast Cartel!

  6. We can expect a big balacera soon between fuerza Coahuila and this group of guys soon, this always happens when cdn enters that state. That area they are in is calm asf in the outskirts of torreon. Even monclova has been calm for a long time

    3. 12:53 in order to be a man of honor you should never get involved in any illegal shit, the guys in the drug business are already man without honor

    2. @10.34 By repeating that tired old childish misunderstanding of Mexico- that a man in control of entire local and state police forces, half a dozen army units, who has the most powerful state security forces at his command, is ''snitching'' by using them as his enforcers, you aren't SAYING anything new. Just repeating the old Cops and Robbers, Police vs Narcos nonsense.

    7. @ 3.15. Yes, he did, and even that was watered down to make it look like a one time thing. That was shown in El Chapo the Netflix series, but which other ''hundreds'' of series was it shown in? They dodged Zulema and her death in all the others I've seen. Chapo brought an entire city to street warfare and murdered hundreds in Juarez, so don't think I'm defending him. I'm trying to cut through the idea that things work in Mexico the same way they do in the US.

    8. @ 9.06. My eyes are dry, I was disagreeng with the teenage definition of ''snitching'' when the person they are snitching TO have less power than the ''snittcher''. It makes no sense.

      Delete
    9. @1.45. What part isn't correct? Are you saying Chapo and his partners didn't control the leaders of entire departments and use their men as their enforcers and killers? Or that they didn't own the most powerful leader of Mexico's security apparatus, and his crooked underlings? Using that power is not betraying a code, which is what ''snitching'' implies, because that code never existed.

    12. They all snitch. Who are yall kidding? They either go out guns blazing or get captured and snitch. In Mexico they're tortured until they snitch and USA they snitch to not get life in prison. Mochomo didn't but that's rare.

I meant that at 9.37, the person who keeps asking me to get into their underwear. I'm gonna have to start arguing with myself on here for real soon though, considering the responses.
