"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
The fentanyl trafficking crisis in the U.S. is not new, but to hide the mess, it is easier to blame others and create political discourse to reinforce the lie.
Since 2019, DEA reports already recognize the existence of gringo Cartels such as the "Crips", with presence in at least 28 states of the American Union.
In addition, the same reports detail that the trafficking of fentanyl powder arrives in the mail from China! For its part, the UN reveals how laboratories have been dismantled in several countries, including the United States.
Even though the US recognizes that there is a problem, they don't address it! and it seems better to blame Mexico for everything?
Salvador Maceda: They say that before you blame you must first acknowledge. The crisis in the United States over fentanyl trafficking is not new. It has a black history of 4 years ago. On the facade, the American union claims to be a victim, but it hasn’t looked at its own backyard to see the mess it has there.
Cesar Arce: The United States is the country that has had the most fentanyl seizures and deaths in the last three or four years.
Salavador Maceda: The same reports of the US anti-drug agency recognize that the illegal transit comes from 2019. It details that the fentanyl powder arrives in the mail from China. This is even shown in the map of that report that we have consulted. This is a nation that has created a system of trafficking and people in the face of the growing demand from the United States. Some seizures revealed that they were sending one kilogram doses with ninety percent pure fentanyl. In a 2017 report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime reported the dismantling of clandestine home laboratories in those nations. The United States also figures there. There were two laboratories with a much longer history. One in 2013 and two others in 2015.
Federico Anaya: In 2019 the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officially recognizes in a report that these cartels do exist. These criminal organizations already have a presence in the United States. They call them gangs. But they have to be called what they are. They are organizations that have a whole criminal structure. They have control of territories. They mention that there are these four organizations. One of them is called the Crips and they have a presence in the United States. And we are going to mention each one of the cities so that you can see that map and the magnitude that these U.S. cartels have. Washington, Montana, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Mississippi, and Alabama. This report is preceded by another report from 2020, also from the DEA. Where they already recognize that these cartels, these gangs are mixing heroin with fentanyl to increase the addiction of all consumers. The same authorities in the United States acknowledged this.
Diego Borbolla: It is the DEA itself that has an interactive map showing that in at least 22 states of the United States in the year 2022 chemical products were located. Here we can see them in this map that we are consulting at the moment, which gives indications that in these points there are clandestine drug laboratories. Chemical products, various items that the DEA itself makes available to the public. This information is available online. Let’s also remember the alert that came out in August 2022. A new modality of rainbow fentanyl that was manufactured to attract teenagers. And the DEA also makes known that in 26 states of the American union this kind of fentanyl was seized. Also two months later, in October 2022, it announces an important arrest. It was of an American, a woman named Letitia Bush. Originally from New Jersey and arrested in New York with about 15,000 rainbow fentanyl pills hidden in plastic Legos.
Cesar Arce: A larger quantity than necessary almost inevitably causes death, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest.
Salvador Maceda: They have created a political discourse to blame foreigners on the other side of their southern border in order to hide the mess that they have in their own backyard.
All drug dealers are the same. Crips , bloods , whatever you wanna call them. They maximize profit over anyone’s health. But I’m America they lick you up and throw away the key for selling fentanyl. Just like they did meth and the Mexicans handle production. It’s called supply and demand. Nothing can break that. It’s economics 101.
ReplyDeleteU know the people that use are the ones to blame, cause if they didn't use they wouldn't sell it ... But to each his own if that's what makes em happy let em be
ReplyDeleteExactly right!!!
DeleteLegalize ALL drugs BUT in such a way that there is NO PROFIT in making/selling those drugs.
That’s the same logic rapist use. She was wearing revealing clothes so she must have wanted it. Let me educate you only drug addicts and why it’s so lucrative. The first time you use yeah it’s a choice. But after that it’s the addiction takes over and takes you places you never wanted to go.
Delete@8:36 pm . That’s a terrible comparison .Let me educate you as to why your simile isn’t appropriate for this argument. First off , you stated, “that’s the same logic rapist use.” Which really makes no sense because your trying to compare rapist to drug dealers . Two totally different things . A rapist uses force to get what they want and a drug dealer doesn’t use force at all-as matter a fact - he doesn’t have to as it is the drug addicts who rush to him , toward the end you were steering towards the right path. It is a choice your making when your buying drugs , (it’s a choice and a risk because I’m sure by now we’re all aware of the high levels of addiction drugs have) so you deciding to use the first time, you deep down know you could end up addicted , so yea it’s a choice .
DeleteE1??
ReplyDeleteSol's hatred of 'gringos' spoils his objectivity. Use of bigoted phrases like 'gringo cartels' (I didn't know crips were 'gringos') doesn't help. And crips certainly aren't making fentanyl. Maybe he should be angry at the Mexican government for making his country a place he doesn't want to live in and prefers living with the hated 'gringos'
ReplyDeleteOk so you're obviously new here. Let me break it down so that you don't look confused and dumb. I didn't write this article. If you notice it's a video made by someone else and I just translated their actual words here. At the bottom of this article the source is listed in red. No where else will you see someone take the time to translate something like this for you just because. We are all volunteers here. I also don't agree with some of the things that were said in this video. But as I stated before I didn't produce this film. That word 'gringo' is not something I use because of the division I've seen it cause with some folks. But the fact is that most individuals south of the border refer to all Americns as gringos regardless of their skin color. Some individuals seem to be comfortable with that word though. As weird as it sounds there's a famous chain of restaurants here in Houston known as 'Gringos'. Great food and highly recommended to all. Any questions feel free to ask kindly and I'll also reply kindly.
DeleteOuch lol. Wellll it’s great that people can express their opinions. Whether right or wrong. And then we all learn from each other. Overall though we have to value the volunteering that is done by the writers here.
DeleteRubio NYC
I have never seen someone have to defend themselves in a volunteer position on a purely voluntary website.I(white guy)have never thought of Sol as bigoted or racist in any way.A tad open and slightly abrasive but keep in mind the website and the topic.Keep it up Sol and the rest of BB it is appreciated.People who whine are annoying and show no appreciation.
DeleteThis isnt an intellectual treatise or debate there is a whole lot of vernacular floating around this place.
DeleteHey Sol I didn't know you were a Tango Blast Houstone
Delete7:36 yeah I currently live in Houston. I'll probably end up leaving in the future. This city does have its perks though. I've noticed people are pretty laid back here. I got pulled over twice with a suspended license cause I was too lazy to go in person to renew it. And the cops let me go with a warning. Lol. You couldn't do that shit in Miami. Hell fuck no. They take you straight to jail if you tried to pull that shit. As much as I first hated Texas I've also grown to love it.
DeleteI have read comments on here, where they wanted to take Sol apart, like a rag doll, or more like a punching bag.
DeleteAll because they are insulted by the article, or better yet when a reality (gory), video is shown.
People fail to see the whole picture, that Sol did not produce the videos.
The latest was of a lady, that was cut into pieces, and the pictures, and this guy that commented wanted to beat up Sol using vulgar comment, he was warned "graphic warning in Red.
If we are unable to stop drugs flowing through our territory, why do we expect the Mexicans (or any other nation) to be able to stop the flow of drugs through their territory???
ReplyDeleteWithout a legalisation that takes ALL profit out of addictive drugs, there will always be an illicit drug trade.
To expect that other nation should be able to stop that illicit trade, when we cannot ourselves, is absurd!
This game of blaming others is just a way a driving attention away from the fact that we have FAILED!
Yet, the US wants to invade Mexico and stop the Mexican cartels , (when they can’t even stop their own cartels/“gangs”in the US ), smh the hypocrisy of that is insane .The US needs to acknowledge that they have problem first; until then nothing will get done.
DeleteDont be ludricous. No gang has a plaza in the US. The reality is this if the Mexican narco-state were unable to traffic drugs to America they would just shift focus to Europe. Cartels are not victims of circumstances
Delete10:24 I have a plaza in the U.S.
Delete@10:24 am Please enlighten us as to how the US is at no fault here , or as how the US doesn’t have a Huge drug addiction problem? Let me guess your one of those people that believes everything that the republicans say .(The US is not a victim of circumstances.)They have a huge problem and they keep sweeping it under the rug , that’s not helping no one .
DeleteTheir is no cartels in the US period because of RICO Act so lets ensure that conversation. The only cartels is law enforcement agencies like the FBI that terrorize our inner cities along with corrupt cops like LAPD. That's why historically most current major gangs in the US started as community organizations to protect themselves from corrupt cops coming into their hoods and terrorizing innocent civilians because of linguistic, cultural or immigration barriers.
ReplyDeleteYes. Cartels are in the US.
Deletehttps://youtu.be/jpNtnPzc7fU
The US is like a covert narssacist, they act innocent but low key are the problem but shift the balme to make them look good 😂
ReplyDeleteUhh… every country acts innocent.. kinda like the one here.
DeleteOne MAJOR DIFFERENCE. Here in the US the Cartels don’t have total control of the country and don’t have control of the government. In Mexico they can literally do whatever they want with complete impunity. That’s not the case here in the US
ReplyDelete2:52 no they can't dumbass
Delete2:52 nahh theres a line that cartels still cant cross with the government in mexico, the true heavy heaters in mexico are the top government officials just like here in the USA
Delete7:09 your blind as a fuken bat, many Cartels are running states in the republic of Mexico, some even have checkpoints, if you don't stop, they shoot you, without worrying about the local police. Cjng is already in 28 states, and the government of Obrador
DeleteCan care a rats ass.
@9:43 pm Yes , they have checkpoints and are only trying to keep rival cartels from entering their plaza ( an area they have total control of the underground /everything that has to do with crime , they run)
DeleteMy point is this they are working with the government ,they pay the government ,they have agreements with the government, the government allows them to operate because it’s a lot of money to be profited and let’s say the government didn’t agree with this they would still operate so yeah the government allowing them to operate and get their cut from profits is a smart idea , (because it’s a problem that’s always going to exist , crime is always going to exist ,it’s just like how that saying goes if you can’t beat them join them ; organized crime whether we like it ,agree with it or not is better because the government can at least know who’s in control as with random acts of violence the chances you have of capturing them are far lower) , but if they don’t follow those agreements and start acting crazy abusing the innocent population on wide scale they would be eliminated rather quickly. So yes the government definitely still runs Mexico . In the US their approach is very similar more than you would expect actually.
!;33 If regular citizens stop at the checkpoints manned by cartels, they get thier car stolen...
DeleteThen they do shoot them, buddy even if they are not rivals.
I’m a gringo living in Mexico and I understand it’s a popular word used by Mexicans. I don’t like it but I I’m used to hearing it.
ReplyDeleteThe article however is about 85% trash. Obviously the US has had a drug consumption problem for decades. For many years I was a user. But the article implies that a large percentage of fentanyl is produced in the states and that’s just not true. There may be some. The US has been in denial for as long as there’s been a drug problem. But almost all of the drugs are coming through Mexico. That’s an undeniable fact.
What I can tell you from experience is that only educated people raised with actual manners will say estadounidenses, or americanos. But that's a slim group of people that I've encountered in my travels. They do exist though. But a lot of it comes down to what circle of people you run with.
DeleteIf find it impossible to accept anything this author has to say when they totally disregard the massive amounts of known drugs flowing across the border.
ReplyDelete"Gringo cartels, such as the Crips"...uh gringo cartel?, ok...
ReplyDeleteThe difference with American “gangs” and Mexican Cartels is that gangs don’t cut people’s heads off, flay their faces, chop em up into pieces and dump the body parts all over the country. It’s delusional to compare them as equals. US has a drug problem and gang problem but it does not scale in comparison to mass graves of missing people or bodies hanging from bridges. The US defense industry wants a new toy to shoot at and they’re running out of ISIS leadership to play with. You can bet they’re eyeballing the next best thing.
ReplyDeleteCriminals run both countries. They need to be removed legally. Cartels are savages.
