Municipal officer shot at in Sanders area
Juarez cops can't even go out to the OXXO convenience stores.
A municipal agent was attacked last night when she was traveling down Sanders Avenue.
She was in a Nissan Versa when she was approached by a gray Dodge Avenger and was shot at through the windshield.
The hit man in the car accelerated and drove off into the night.
Don't off duty officers in Mexico carry weapons.?
ReplyDeleteIn alot of major mexican cities, the police rotate firearms between on duty an off duty officers due to budget constraints.
DeleteNo, they are not allowed. If needed they must go to the ONE AND ONLY gun shop in all the country, Mexico City (on an army base) and apply along with months of beaurocratic bs like any other Mexican civilian. Much time, money and travel. Mexico has very strict gun laws, yes, it's true....just like South Africa has very strict gun laws despite being known as a murder capital country. True irony
DeleteIn El Paso we don’t have traditional rio border and twice I have seen driving on I-10 weapons muzzle blasts exchanging fire across border.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am in Brownsville, Laredo, Del Río and even Mission; I feel a security del el Rio Grande that we do not have here
Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s the Tijuana Police out of protest started caring slingshots on their holsters as they did not have enough hand guns and or Amo....
ReplyDeleteNot protesting, the tijuas cops' service weapons were confiscated so ballistic tests could confirm if they matched bullets taken out of murder victims..
DeleteYou'd think it would be wise to ditch a hot gun, but in Tijuana they get used over and over..

Kill al mexican cops. They aint shit anyways.
ReplyDeleteGo to OXXO and get your head severed and placed in that cheap Styrofoam OXXO cooler.
