Criminals and soldier killed in CJNG shootout in Michoacán

Six assassins and a soldier were killed in a clash between a criminal group and the Mexican Army and Sedena in Michoacán.

The events occurred yesterday in the town of San Rafael Tecario in the municipality of Ciudad Hidalgo in Michoacan.

According to preliminary reports, hitmen from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) encountered a military convoy in a rural area.

The alleged CJNG criminals were aboard three pickup trucks and began firing shots. After the crossfire, at least six armed civilians were killed, as well as one soldier.

The soldier who lost his life was a member of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and another was wounded.

Six of the alleged CJNG members were killed and another was wounded.

The wounded man and six other men were detained by the Mexican Army and handed over to the Attorney General's Office (FGR).

Authorities also secured weapons of exclusive use of the Army, and will continue the corresponding investigations into the events.

    1. It's the same thing. The translation programs all differ in how they go about doing their thing.

    1. Thats the problem with being ambushed and riding in non amored cars, especially with the pickups and soldiers standing in the back. Surprised that not more soldiers die, it takes just a few seconds to unload a clip, the truck bed doesnt provide any cover

  7. Im surprised they take any alive,if they killed my brother in arms i would obliterate the truck and mow them down as they scurry away.
They abrogated their human rights when they chose to roll around with SMGs and military grade firearms. Sicarios job is to kill people, any people.
