Gulf Cartel "Scorpions" Faction Show Of Power In Rio Bravo: Tamaulipas

 "Ivan" For Borderland Beat

On the early hours of Sunday May 28th, 2023, several videos where published on Twitter depicting a large convoy of armored trucks belonging to the "Scorpions" faction who are gulf cartel members based out of Matamoros. More than 100 armored trucks are shown in a video patrolling the city of Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, according to La Voz Del Pueblo and Halcon Ciudadano  , both twitter accounts based out of Tamaulipas.

As of yet, there is no war between gulf cartel factions "Metros' of Reynosa and "Scorpions" of Matamoros. Los Metros faction are currently lead by El Primito and his brother R-8, Los Metros appear to be on the defensive, and more than anything standing guard in case "Scorpions"group lead by La Kena or Jefe 19,  decide to make a move into Reynosa. A war between both gulf cartel factions would be highly inconvenient especially for Primito who is currently at war with Cartel Del Noreste in the Ribere帽a,  and if war erupts with Matamoros that would mean fighting two wars at once for Primito.

The "Scorpions" of Matamoros are currently still going after any Zetas Vieja Escuela members left in San Fernando, Tamaulipas.

Important to note that there has been skirmishes in the city limits of Reynosa and Rio Bravo, and Reynosa road to San Fernando.

I also want to point out that I informed Hearst and Itzli BB contributors, that the Rio Bravo plaza was given up by Comandante Toro M-42 before his death to make a peace pact between Los Metros of Reynosa and Los Ciclones of Matamoros. The Cardenas family asked Toro for the Rio Bravo plaza and Toro accepted the conditions.

    1. Half the crew riding around in those vehicles are off-duty military personnel. 2/3 carry weapons pilfered from the military. And all of their lives hinge on whether a lieutenant and governor accepted bribes from the appropriate prevailing power. Corruption only works when it reaches the state offices and beyond. Ain’t no mayor quelling this imminent confrontation; but will suppress the news feeds reporting facts. Expect soaring casualties.

    2. It's Mexico, most curupt officials are in collusion with Cartels, as long as bribes come in, they are free to morph and grow.
Some youngsters in here claim, Mexico has a satellite, watching over Mexico, which would be 馃憤 nice...this was have been a good opportunity to use it, to send in the military to blow up the convoy, but no they prefer the cash cow of bribes to continue coming in.

    4. 5:59 - You made a small mistake in your comment. 2/3 of the guns they carry come from the good ol’ U.S.A.

  8. Likely most of not all of those are not armored, just late model stolen from the US. Nothing about those days armors from that distance at night, and do t say bc some have lights, otherwise should we assume all gov vehicles are armored?

  12. Same crap if it goes through Texas or Arizona But that doesn't mean they have to infringe on someone else's territory But that remains with the Tamaulipas groups let's see what they do so if you hear a bunch of people in McAllen talking with a Jalisco accent at the Mall or as your next door neighbor it means they got through and more work for law enforcement.

  13. Not bad for a guy coming up in the world selling joints in California as an illegal and gets caught and deported it's either the American dream or the Mexican dream.?

  14. The metros and the matamoros cdg are at war. The metros broke the truce cdg factions held. Rio bravo is the border between metros in reynosa and matamoros cdg and it belongs to the matamoros faction.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Escorpiones CDG Matamoros took San Fernando and Cd Victoria and Valle Hermoso from Metros and Vieja Escuela for allowing CJNG in Tamps and now metros in Reynosa are facing Escorpiones encrouching on the outskirts of Reynosa. The video is one of 3 from another site and the 3rd video shows the whole group in the brechas that go on for a mile or so lined with about a 100 escorpiones. Reynosa is the next Logical choice for the matamoros factions. Metros are already fighting CDN north in Miguel Aleman ( Frontera chica) and now south los Escorpiones. They will loose Reynosa for bringing in to Tamps CJNG.

  16. Idiots for doing that than they'll take over the border with texas.so what do they protect if they let outsiders move in.

  17. So who let Jalisco move in to Tamaulipas? Bad mistake because they'll never leave .

  20. So why are they at war with ZVE?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Supposedly ZVE hid pantera 24 when the Matamoros faction went looking for him about a year and a half ago. Then they went into alliance with the Metros and Jaliscos

  21. What about N.Laredo? They ve been quiet lately? Are they going to take sides in all the infighting between CDG allowing Jalisco in to Tamaulipas or stay on the sidelines admiring the view? Or they're going to call their uncle for advice down in Chiapas ?
