A confrontation between armed civilians and members of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) in Tacuichamona, south of Culiacán, on Sunday morning left at least three soldiers injured.
So far it has only been reported that Army agents requested support from local and state authorities.
The events took place minutes before 8:00 a.m. this Sunday.
There is a strong deployment of security forces in the area.
So far the authorities have not released any further details, it is expected that more information about the events will be released in the coming hours.
