Are the 'Ukrainian' weapons already in Mexico?" was the image published by the Russian embassy in Mexico where it claims that a member of a Tamaulipas cartel is carrying a Swedish-American AT4 anti-tank rocket launcher.
Érika González: Today the Russian embassy in Mexico tweeted this tweet to expose the following. They wanted to draw everyone’s attention to the Swedish-American made anti-tank weapon carried by a representative of one of the Mexican cartels in the state of Tamaulipas.

Érika González: It’s not a meme. This is from the official account of the Russian embassy in Mexico. And they posted this photo that also went viral. As we can see in the picture this is an alleged hitman.

Érika González: Yes, from the Gulf Cartel carrying an AT-4. And according to the Russian embassy this type of weapon is currently being sent to Ukraine. And they said verbatim: While the West continues to supply weapons without thinking to the Kiev regime and making a lot of money from this business. We will probably unexpectedly see the consequences of these actions in Mexico.

ReplyDelete@ 8:41, YVW. My intention was to demonstrate that the yellow band indicates that this is an inert field handling trainer, there is no HE warhead in this particular weapon. The sub caliber version uses a 9mm barrel inserted into the weapon. I’ve fired hundreds of rounds of the sub caliber variety.

ReplyDeleteThe yellow band means it is inert, it is a dummy for training or getting enemies to believe you have them, either way, who cares, they have had similar armament for years, in these and other anti tank weapons stolen or bought from central and South American arsenals and troops. Doubt arms are in Mexico from Ukraine, but with the volume of arms, can be sore some seepage will and has ended up in the world arms black market. The Balkan war was tiny in scale compared to Ukraine, and there are still readily available arms from that conflict easily bought all over Europe, even in Scandinavia and Western Europe.
