Burned Vehicles Found In Sinaloa Municipality After Clash

Five burned vehicles were found in Sinaloa municipality after the confrontations that took place this morning.


Authorities reported that they were two backhoe loaders, two pickup trucks and a car.


The vehicles were on the road leading to the town of San José de las Delicias, in Sinaloa municipality.



According to the authorities, no injured or deceased persons were found at the scene.


This afternoon, residents of the community reported that there had been clashes in the area since early morning.


They reported that there were also burned vehicles.

"During the extended reconnaissance by authorities from the three levels of government in the mountainous area of Sinaloa de Leyva, 5 burned units were found on the road leading to San José de las Delicias. So far no people have been injured or killed."- Cristobal Castañeda


Elements of the Army and State Preventive Police arrived and located the burned vehicles.


Hours later, Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, Secretary of Public Security of the State, reported that up to that moment they had found no evidence of gunfire.


Tonight he confirms that in San José de las Delicias 5 units were found burned. So far there are no injuries or deaths.
