"Char" for Borderland Beat
Oscar Balderas, a journalist specializing in organized crime, told how Heladio Cisneros, a suspect in the death of the former vigilante leader.
Who is 'La Sirena', Hipolito Mora's alleged murderer?
Oscar Balderas said that 26 days before the murder of the businessman he had a telephone conversation with him, in which he confessed that "if 'Los Viagras' killed him, it would be the end for 'La Sirena'".
The reporter said that Mora had a black notebook in which he wrote down important events in La Ruana and on the last page he wrote the alias of his killer, along with his initials "HC" for Heladio Cisneros.
The journalist said that the former vigilante leader told him: "The one who is going to kill me is not going to withstand the pressure from the government. They will kill me and the people of La Ruana will take it upon themselves to take up arms or get caught. None of his political friends can save him.
According to Balderas, this character "has allies in the local public service," which has saved him from prison or death.
"Those who have known him since he was a teenager remember him obsessed with the wealth of the Amezcua brothers, the founders of the Colima Cartel who were pioneers in the synthetic drug business in the Pacific," he explained.
Since he was young he was involved in drug trafficking with the eight Sierra Santana brothers.
"Along with them he learned about the cockfights that were organized in Zirándaro, Guerrero, which were attended by caciques, narcos and assassins with PRI membership credentials, such as the feared Rogaciano Alva, whom he admired for his ability to generate votes, bullets and drugs," he added.
However, "their world expanded further" when 'Los Viagras' introduced 'Americano,' a self-defense leader who became a methamphetamine trafficker.
"The two hit it off to the point that the former took charge of the latter's security and became the promoter of a group that would ruin the armed civilian movement against Los Caballeros Templarios," he described.
He also recounted that he supported the idea of creating an armed column called "Los Perdonados."
"From Los Viagras he absorbed the knowledge of receiving wads of cash to overturn elections," he recounted.
As if that were not enough, Óscar Balderas reported that 'La Sirena' has been arrested four times: "Once in 2014, twice in 2018, once in 2019. He has come out of all of them well, with his assets intact and his influence secured".
I am just glad that Carteles Unidos are finally getting the attention they deserve. Abuelo Farias should also be included in that group.
ReplyDeleteI do feel bad for Mora, his brother, and his son..
ReplyDeleteMora and his son don't feel anything. His brother Lupe is in danger staying in La Ruana and speaking out against La Sirena, Gordo Sierra Santana and Los Viagras. Ya que lo maten van hacer algo el gobierno de MORENA?
DeleteMorena/bedolla protect viagras. And they never did anything to fight viagras. Bedolla is a family member of one of the leaders of viagras. Lupe is a fake he didnt even have a good relationship with his brother now that he died he is pretending to be a good brother. The government never did anything to diminish the power of los viagras and this idiot brother lupe keeps saying he is giving the government time and opportunity to do something. Its been 2 weeks and 3 days and no suspects no orders of arrest, just being swept under the rug and forgotten. Hipolito was a greedy little pig who would accuse people of being caballeros templarios in order to steal their lime orchards. He knew they wanted to kill him but he stayed so he didnt lose his lime orchards. What is more important your lime orchards/money or your life?? Guess he got the message. I am not sure where you go after you die but with all the firepower unleashed on hipolito when they killed him,i am sure he is still ducking his head trying to avoid the bullets whereever he is lmaoooo

DeleteGood post man
2.37. 2 weeks and 3 days and there have been no arrests? This is Michoacan, not Gotham City. Why does everybody have to simplify things? You are right that Viagras have always been used by whoever needed them, and Mora wasn't what he claimed to be, but still, go and laugh your ass off somewhere else.

ReplyDeleteThe Chapito Isidro of Michoacán it seems like…
Deletedo la sirena really mean the mermaid? if so, why would someone go by that name? or is it a derogatory nickname someone came up with to call him?
ReplyDeleteI believe it also means a literal siren..
Delete11:11 in mexico you dont get to choose your nickname
Delete11:58 & 1:37 thanks that's unfortunate. I've seen a lot of the guys have manly sounding nicknames so I was just curious why they deviated from that.
DeleteHe felt so important that was one of the biggest mistake aint nobody give a f not even your people the ones who You fought for those michoacanos rather support and cheer for cartel members lol
ReplyDeleteÓrale chairo
DeleteWhatever happened to the Amezcua Contrera brothers?
ReplyDeleteThey own private land in colima and if I remember right luis or adan now lives in california on a ranch
DeleteWhy would Sirena wack Mora? I didn't see that addressed in article.
ReplyDeleteLa sirena blamed him for a meth lab being busted that they were partners in. When it got raided La Sirena demanded that Hipolito pay him his half of the initial investment. Hipolito said no and that is where the problem started. Hipolito would always cry to Nicolas Sierra Santana to help him get La Sirena off his back and it worked for a while until Nicolas got tired of Hipolito and let La Sirena kill him. Hipolito was only a media darling he never fought for anything he would only give interviews and walk around with a rifle. But he had no respect from anybody on the ground because he was not next to them fighting. This is why nobody ever took up arms with him or helped out in anyway. He died alone with only his paid security guys but nobody in town even lifted a finger for him to help him. Plus he was a lyliar and a big thief he would accuse people of being Cablleros Templarios just to steal their lime orchards. He knew that they would kill them eventually so why wouldnt he leave La Ruana?? Because he did not want to lose his Lime Orchards. His greed got him killed. He had plenty of time and opportunities to escape. But he chose to stay because of greed.
