The shootout that occurred during the early hours of this Wednesday on Libramiento Oriente, a new highway south of Ciudad Juárez, was confirmed to have been a confrontation between members of La Linea and the Sinaloa Cartel. Four people were killed during the shootout.
This was confirmed by the Chihuahua prosecutor César Jáuregui, who also announced that authorities are contemplating erecting a security camp at the highway due to the numerous confrontations that have taken place there.
"All signs point towards an intrusion that individuals associated with organized crime (La Línea) aimed to carry out into a region that has been under the dominion of a different faction (Sinaloa Cartel). We possess information that will guide us in this direction, as we are conducting an investigation involving an individual who was likely present during the incident," Jáuregui Moreno stated.
Spanning a distance of 31 kilometers (19 miles), the Samalayuca–Tornillo roadway stretches from slightly north of the sand dunes community of Samalayuca, situated south of Ciudad Juarez, and extends to the Tornillo–Guadalupe International Bridge, located to the southeast of El Paso, Texas.
Approximately 70 bullet casings were tallied by investigators at the sites of the shootings, as stated by state police. While most of the victims have yet to be identified, one individual has been named: Eduardo Francisco P. F., a toll booth attendant, who tragically lost his life, potentially caught in the midst of the crossfire.
Among the vehicles involved, three bore Texas license plates. These included a 2020 GMC Yukon XL in gray, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado in black, and a 2012 Toyota Sequoia, also in black. None of these vehicles had been reported as stolen, according to information provided by the state police.
Two additional vehicles were present: an unregistered red 2016 Dodge Ram 1500, reported stolen in 2021, and a white 2011 GMC displaying Chihuahua plates. Notably, two of the trucks contained blue camouflage-style attire.
The extent of potential injuries sustained by others remains uncertain, as they might have been transported to hospitals by their comrades. Investigators are looking into this matter with hospitals in the surrounding areas of Guadalupe, Chihuahua.
Previous attacks in new highway
Over the past few months, multiple incidents of gunfire have occurred within the vicinity of the newly constructed highway in the Valley of Juárez.
Towards the end of May, Dulce Mijares, a beauty queen from Guadalupe, Chihuahua, along with her parents, were injured after their vehicle was pursued and fired upon by gunmen.
Additionally, during the same month, local news outlets reported another incident in which a former municipal police officer Juan Manuel Esquivel Herrera and his 15-year-old son lost their lives in a separate shooting. The officer's wife, Liliana Morones, who was also a former police officer, was shot in the head and died weeks later from her injuries.
The construction of the Samalayuca–Tornillo highway was undertaken with the purpose of mitigating the congestion of commercial truck traffic that typically traverses through the border crossings in the international metropolitan area of Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas.

La Linea is probably the group that has killed more CDS than any other group, CDS hasn’t been able to gain territory since they got Madera and Cuathemoc some years back and it’s been said they are barely hanging onto those places
ReplyDeleteLos Zetas
DeleteThe Z’s were dominating cds even with help from cdg and the government
Delete@12:46 juarez been fighting cds longer then zetas
DeleteNo fan here, just facts. Every single org that goes against CDS, ends up weaker, if not dismantled. Every one. You can say, they use the gov to win, and it's true. However, that shows the power, and influence of the members. Not the figureheads, but, the org as a whole. Very deep pocketed, and influential. CDS is over, has been said, written and expressed over and over. Yet, still considered the largest international criminal syndicate in the world.
DeleteSinaloa is the real mafia like it or not I hate them all the same but the are on some real god father shit
Delete8:32 Agreed, except for the Jaliscos who have used same tactics to advance in places like Guanajuato and Tamaulipas
Delete8:32 you guys don't know the whole truth.
DeleteI have a cousin that reads certain American websites that states since 2008 that the US government wants ONE single cartel to control Mexico. This is so that if that cartel ever gets out of line one huge capo is easier to trap that many smaller ones.
So no Sinaloa did not grow big by itself. It grew big because the US government wanted it that way.

Delete@10:45 el chuyin is top priority for authorities in chihuahua
DeleteLa linea Rifa en ojinaga machin
DeleteLa Linea are like ghosts..very low key mfs
ReplyDeletelow key are the bosses that live in Juarez and El Paso, TX under the US noses
DeleteEl Paso, Tx has a lot of rich families from Juarez that come from drug money and also some who don’t. US turned a blind eye when the drug war started because all the rich Mexicans from the border fled to TX and other border areas. All of the rich families from Tamaulipas for the most part fled to TX too. “Fuga de capital” is how they call it in Mexico.
Deleteits crazy to me that just a few minutes away from this shootout you have one of the safest cities in the US and a place with well kept streets and safe neighborhoods where you can walk at night without a problem. El Paso is one of my favorite cities in TX and (controversial opinion here) much better to live than Houston, Austin, SA, and maybe Dallas.

ReplyDeleteCDS is the one who provides 80 percent of drugs that are crossed through that desert which is in fact dominated by la gente nueva and la línea inside the us New Mexico and Texas are flooded with chihuahua cartel aka la Linea la empresa or cartel de Juarez safe house operators but all the drugs are provided and bought from CDS
DeleteLol you need to use another site cause whats here is nothing of what's really going on.
Delete9:10 CDJ also has sources of supply in S América. CDS isn't a we or us organization, meaning people from Sinaloa pooling together their merchandise to dominate a market.
DeleteJust because loud mouths talk it don't make it true.
Anybody who can source it, cross it and sell it will make 🤑
