"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
Several banners were found in the municipality of Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico, which read an alleged curfew apparently imposed by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), as the material found was signed by this criminal organization.
The local press reported that the banners with threatening messages were found in various locations in Tepotzotlán, a Magical Town, and that they were all signed by the four-letter cartel.
In addition to multiple threats to individuals and possible members of the enemy cartel, the narco-message included an alleged 10:00 p.m. curfew for citizens, in which they mentioned that they were going to carry out a "purge" of scumbag thieves, kidnappers, and extortionists who harms the public.
It should be recalled that since October 2022 there had already been reports of the presence of the CJNG operating in Tepotzotlán and in various parts of the State of Mexico, but on that occasion it was reported that it was an alliance between the Four Letters Cartel and the Tepito Union.
I love Tepotzotlan, about 2 hours from Mexico City by bus, its just so beautiful and charming. They have the highest pyramids in all of mexico, like a mini machu pichu stettled within gorgeous green nountains. You wont find any tourists at all. Wtf is CJNG doing there??? Probably just asking businesses for quotas Fkn rats!!!!!!!
