Christopher Armando Ramírez Cruz and Juan Salvador Cárdenas Terrazas were captured in October 2004 at a home in Tijuana.
A federal judge sentenced two members of the Arellano Felix brothers' cartel, who were arrested 19 years ago, to 59 years and four months in prison.
They are Christopher Armando Ramírez Cruz, El Ángel, and Juan Salvador Cárdenas Terrazas, who were captured in October 2004, in a house in Tijuana, Baja California, by ministerial police of that state.
At the scene, firearms, magazines and marijuana were seized, in addition to the release of two people who had been kidnapped.
The Special Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime of the Attorney General's Office charged them with the crimes of kidnapping, deprivation of personal liberty, stockpiling and possession of firearms and possession of magazines for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.
In recent days, the Second District Court for Federal Criminal Proceedings in Toluca, State of Mexico, reopened the proceedings and issued the conviction. Both individuals are currently incarcerated in the Federal Center for Social Readaptation 18 CPS-Coahuila.
Nearly 20 years awaiting a sentence, I would go crazy not knowing. Prison is easier when you have a date to look forward to.

8:30 maybe a year, but after that you wouldnt care, 20 yrs in prison you will get use to it, if you actually get out of there and get back in the world you would feel ackward and would want to go back, its crazy but its true, just look at all the harden criminals, they feel safer in jail than out
DeleteUhm there have been plenty of inmates with life sentences who have escaped and tried to elude the law as long as they can. It’s not like if they had the chance to escape they wouldn’t do it. Yes there are people that become conditioned but that’s absolutely not everybody.
