Heads And Other Human Remains Abandoned On Acapulco Streets

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

The human remains were found in the Bellavista and La Laja neighborhoods in Acapulco, Guerrero.

The heads of three people and other human remains were abandoned in plastic bags in two neighborhoods in the urban area of the port of Acapulco, Guerrero.

The facts were reported during Saturday night, at around 22:00 hours, in the vicinity of the Bella Vista and La Laja neighborhoods, in the amphitheater area of the port.

In the first instance, gunshots were reported and a taxi cab was left in the middle of the road. Two limbs and a cardboard were left on the awning.

Next, bags with human remains were reported, as well as some cardboard, which represented a total of three bodies in both incidents.

The crime scenes were reported between the streets Vicente Guerrero and the corner of Lázaro Cárdenas in the Bella Vista and La Laja neighborhoods in the urban zone of this tourist destination.

Later, ministerial and public security authorities arrived and cordoned off the area and waited for Forensic Services personnel to conduct the investigation.

Later they ordered the removal of the body and human remains to be taken to the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) in the town of El Quemado.

It is worth mentioning that after these acts of violence, several operations were carried out by federal, state and ministerial authorities without positive results.

  2. HEARST, come here..
te invito visitar mi bello acapulco de Juarez..
If you're not one of the lost souls getting chopped up into carnitas, it's a pretty mellow atmosphere..
La Laja is a barrio way the heck up the mountainside (everywhere in this town climbs straight uphill from the bay), there's a mirador that boasts a spectacular view, but mostly it's for the local denizens..
It spooks los costeños originales out a bit when these blood-drenched unpleasantries occur, but life is good for those of us left alive..
