Delete@ 8.28. The professionals, military and ex-police often do drug them, simply to make them more pliable, in the same way kidnap victims are drugged. Don't forget they are often taken from place to place, are made to read bullshit confessions, have often kept for days etc etc. They aren't interested in hurting them, but they aren't numbed out of mercy either. It's simply to make them docile.
