In Jalisco, two homes were raided in the municipalities of Zapopan and San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where more than 100 weapons, vehicles and drugs were found, and three men were captured who were allegedly linked to the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG).

The operation involved elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the National Guard and the National Intelligence Fusion Center (Cenfi) attached to the National Intelligence Center (CNI) and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO) of the Attorney General's Office.

The intelligence areas of the Federal Government were key to finding the location of two warehouses, where ministerial agents carried out the inspections authorized by a federal judge.
This intervention was to "curtail criminal activities generated by organized crime" in the state of Jalisco, according to a press release issued by Sedena.

In the properties, whose addresses were not provided, 104 weapons, 11,651 cartridges of different calibers, 138 magazines, 10 vehicles, 28 kilos of synthetic drugs and 449 doses of cocaine were found.

The seized items and the detainees, whose identities were not disclosed, were handed over to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, which will determine their legal status.

  3. The state of Jalisco and specially the city of Guadalajara doesn’t have a single owner, BLO, CDS and CJNG share Jalisco and always will. There are plenty of sub groups there too.
