"Socalj" for Borderland Beat

With heavy caliber weapons, unknown individuals shot at the facilities of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) in Tijuana, early this Saturday, November 18 around 3:20AM.

The Tijuana Municipal Police arrived at the scene and saw government vehicles with damage to the windows and body showing signs of gunshots. According to witnesses, those responsible were aboard a black Chevrolet S10 truck and a white Nissan Xterra SUV.

After an operation, the agents located an abandoned red Ram truck near Clinic 7 of the IMSS, and apparently, those responsible fled in the XTerra towards the El Florido neighborhood, where they then fled on foot.

It was later reported that the municipal police detained two subjects, and seized a long weapon and two vehicles. Juan Francisco “N”, 21 years old, and Jesús Ángel “N”, alias El Moreno, 24 years old, were captured.  No one was reported injured due to the drive-by shooting.
