"I am going to send a bill to ban vapers because I will not be an accomplice to something that seriously harms young people," said the president.
WRITTEN BY: DALIA ESCOBAR
MEXICO CITY (apro) - President Andrés Manuel López Obrador will send a reform initiative to ban the commercialization of vapers.
"Mr. (Javier) Laynez, here I take advantage of this, has just resolved that it is legal to sell and distribute vapers, which have been proven harmful to health. They have already resolved in an injunction that they can commercialize because they put the commercial aspect first and forget about health," he said.
The proposal will be launched before the end of the year, "I am going to send a bill to ban vapers because I will not be an accomplice to something that seriously harms young people. It destroys their respiratory system and many interests are at stake, a lot of money".
Referring to the Judicial Power, he also took the opportunity to say that it was shameless that they do not want to stop earning between 600 and 700 thousand pesos per month, besides the fact that it is a shame that they do not want to contribute the 15 billion from the trusts to be destined to the victims in Acapulco, which, he said, has to do with the dignity of that power due to the letter sent by the president of the Court to express her agreement with that destination for the resources.
"First the president of the Judicial Power, and that has to do with dignity, sent me a letter telling me that she saw well our proposal that this money be used to support the victims of Acapulco" and added that then the warrant began.
"To the extent that Mr. Laynez, who is now the most tenacious defender of causes that have to do with corruption, now says that this trust fund is theirs, minister of the Court, judge, and party because it was a decision of the legislative power, of an autonomous power, of the Chamber of Deputies that has the exclusive power according to the constitution to approve the budget and no, in a creatine way they say no", he pointed out.

Won't legalize weed. Will ban vapes. Somebody put this asshole out to pasture already.
ReplyDeleteYeah weed is the shit I can’t lie about that!
DeleteIt’ll never pass in Congress. AMLO knows this and is just making the announcement of a proposed bill for PR. Then he can blame Congress and say he tried to stop the terrible scourge of vaping.
DeleteHe will not be an accomplice to something that seriously harms young people but during his tenure as president over a 100 thousand ppl been killed or disappeared. Senile corrupt ass motherfucker.
ReplyDeleteI could understand if he pulled the trigger or commissioned the hits but that's not the case. He has no control over what others do across the nation.
Delete9:46:
DeleteAs president he has control over his security strategy. More than 180,000 Mexicans have been murdered on his watch. His security strategy is an absolute failure and more than 100,000 murders are due to the failure of ELMO to put a realistic security strategy in place.

ReplyDeleteI thought ALMO legalized weed?
ReplyDeleteDumbest shit I've read today
ReplyDeleteWorst president ever
ReplyDeleteYoure an idiot. :)
DeleteYes I agree this amlo guy is a clown 🤡
DeleteFucking idiot. Just more shit the cartel can sell and profit from
ReplyDelete9:38:
DeleteYou are absolutely right. Ban vaping and the cartels will smuggle vaping products for a good profit.
Uh, maybe you missed the article published last week where 2 teens were forced to March naked by cartel members for selling vaping cigarettes. I think the cartels already have their hands in that pot buddy.
DeleteProbably wants to ban them so he can smuggle them in and make a profit he wants that piece of the pie
DeletePinche AMLO PENDEJO…..😁😁
ReplyDelete¿Vapeando o fumando? Difunden video de Jesús Ernesto, hijo de AMLO, ‘echando humo’ en oficina de gobierno….could be because of this ?
ReplyDeleteMexico City.- A video is circulating on social networks where Jesús Ernesto{16 years old} son of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president of Mexico, is seen in a government office area, apparently smoking.
ReplyDeleteEl chocoflan es marijuano
ReplyDeleteI don't care what yall say. Atleast he banning vapes and I'm all for it. That shit really does give you anxiety
ReplyDeleteThis guy is seriously dumb lmao, banning vapes just means more profits for the cartels, since anyone else cant sell them. Cartels are above the law so they get to sell them and make more profits whilst everyone else is prohibited from selling them by the law
ReplyDelete10:13 - Uh, maybe you missed the article published last week where 2 teens were forced to walk naked by cartel members for selling vaping cigarettes. I think the cartels already have their hands in that pot buddy.
DeleteYour argument is pretty stupid, they will make money with everything, doesnt matter if legal or illegal. Whats next, not fighting the cartels cause you can loose?
DeleteUS will send its surplus of vapes over if this happens. Detroit price down to 7.50 versus 40 a pop years ago
ReplyDeleteProof mex will always be a 3rd rate, 3rd world country.
ReplyDeleteWell that’s disturbing.. first a cartel implements a town ban and now this? And they aren’t in cahoots?
ReplyDelete@AMLO: As an outside observer, your people are dying like flies from evils of narco-cartels evils.
ReplyDeleteYour "trivial" acts on vaping make you a stupid "Sin-Verguensa!"

DeleteI don't see why he would make vapes illegal when they got the flavored cigarettes being sold in all the little stores in the nation. I quit cigs 2 years ago and have been vaping disposable vapes ever since and can totally feel a difference. No nasty buzz like from cigs and you dont smell like a nasty ass ashtray all day. Si la gente apestaba antes ahora mucho mas jajaja
ReplyDeleteMaybe you're too young to remember, but a few years back, around 2017-2018 there was a ton of serious vaping related illnesses in the U.S. The majority were young people and they were developing crazy respiratory illnesses that required surgery. Sometimes even lung transplants. I haven't delve into the topic yet, but I imagine Mexico is just witnessing this phenomenon. If I remember correctly, I the president or atleast some state governor had banned the sale of vaping pens.
Deletehttps://youtu.be/wd3W9aUm7X8?si=rLMVe_tXPqsNCWnO
Thats from the bootleg weed cartridges. There was a certain ingredient being used that is not used any longer. Causing Popcorn lung. I remember that very well. But it was only coming from bootleg weed carts.
Delete1059, again I have not delve into the details, but AMLO is claiming young people are dying. Maybe that certain ingredient is inside the cartridges being sold in Mexico.
DeleteYeah I do believe those carts were coming from mexico. Specifically TJ. I've never had a problem with store bought nicotine vapes that I traded in for cigs. From my own personal experience after smoking cigs for 20 years, vaping is a lot less stress on the body. Even my dental hygiene has improved drastically.
DeleteSend Mexicans troops into the USA to arrest the manufacturer of this chemical drug that is destroying millions of people. Does it work like that or does it only work if it’s another country?
ReplyDeleteWhoever legalises alcohol and cigarettes. None of who have any medical Value should legalize every illegal substances.
ReplyDeleteReally? That’s the Mexican Joe Biden’s priority?
ReplyDeleteWell done AMLO voters (sarcasm).
Queso
They were banned in the U.S long before this article. So what's good for the goose is not good for the gander?
