Borderland Beat readers wanted more coverage of the current war between Zetas Vieja Escuela (ZVE)- aligned with the powerful group Metros of Reynosa Gulf cartel faction, against another equally powerful Gulf cartel faction Scorpions of Matamoros. The following footage and images are from clashes that took place this Saturday in the early morning hours. Scorpions have suffered heavy casualties when making incursions into Soto La Marina a Plaza controlled by Zetas Vieja Escuela.
