"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Alejandro Guerra, a US citizen, was sentenced to 8 years in prison after being detained at the Otay checkpoint in Tijuana with weapons and drugs in April 2022 by members of the National Guard.

The perpetrator was transporting a long weapon, six short weapons, seven magazines, 28 rounds and 54 grams of marijuana in a vehicle.

For this reason, he is believed to be guilty of committing crimes against health and crimes stipulated in the Federal Firearms and Explosives Law.

Through the District Judge based in Tijuana, the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Baja California obtained a conviction of eight years in prison and a 134-day fine for the accused.

After the agent of the Federal Public Ministry integrated the investigation file, the aforementioned sentence was issued through an abbreviated trial by the corresponding authority of the Justice Center in Tijuana.

    1. @458 are you serious? Ever actually cross the border? Are you aware of how many vehicles and persons cross each day?? Vehicles and people are checked randomly (and targeted) BOTH ways.

    2. Don’t pay attention to 458, he hasn’t touched grass in a while. Living out in west bubba f*ck watching fox hasn’t helped either.

  2. Getting locked up 8 years for a profit of 3 grand tops.
He probably could have made 2 runs a month without raising too much suspicion.
There are way better and safer ways to make that with far less penalties

    1. He was probably doing 5 runs a month like that but this one time decided on something different.

  3. Good arrest and follow up sentencing. He must have been a lone wolf independent. Can’t see someone with a cartel getting arrested and sentenced like that. Cartels usually have things running like a well oil machine at the border. Especially in TJ.

Just so I didn't have to smoke that brick stuff man the locals they really love to smoke. My goodies had some good tie bud now now that was back in the days. Everybody enjoy! Let's go get high
