Elements of the National Guard located six bags with human remains on the property where a confrontation took place this Wednesday morning in the El Tapatío neighborhood in Tlaquepaque, where an assailant was wounded and a woman was killed. They also arrested 17 members of a criminal group, and secured two houses and an arsenal.

The first house was located at 3238 Plan de Valladolid Street, Fraccionamiento Revolucion, where 12 men and a woman were arrested and 12 assault rifles were seized.

The second incident took place at 148 Brigada Norte Street, in the El Tapatío neighborhood, where the National Guard members were shot at. In the shooting, one of the assailants was injured and an accomplice died after falling from a rooftop while escaping.


After the shooting, three men and a woman were detained, and six bags were found with 12 assault rifles, 10 handguns, three motorcycles, five vehicles, nine tactical vests with the legend "Cartel Jalisco Grupo Delta", and eight ballistic plates.



Both home properties remain guarded by the National Guard while awaiting the arrival of the experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to take charge of the removal of the body.

The detainees and the weapons will be handed over to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, which will be in charge of investigating the case.
