"Char" for Borderland Beat

Personnel from the 43rd Military Zone were ambushed this day with narco-drones and narco-mines in the municipality of Tepalcatepec by alleged members of the Tepalcatepec cartel led by Juan Jose Farias Alvarez, alias "El abuelo", leaving at least 4 dead and several wounded.
According to military sources, the attack took place when the soldiers were traveling along a rural road between the towns of El Montoso and El Terrenatillo, at which point several narco-mines exploded as their convoy passed by.
The soldiers were then attacked with high-powered firearms and narco-drones, at which point at least 4 soldiers were killed and approximately 9 injured, according to sources inside the Army.
This action took place in a territory that is disputed by the cartels of "El Abuelo", headed by José Farías Álvarez, in alliance with "Los Caballeros Templarios", against the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation, military commanders told this newspaper.
So, does this mean that the military is finally going after the Tepalcatepec cartel?
ReplyDeleteThe Navy captured a few years ago el abuelo farias but was set free and highly likely helped by his now enemy Mencho.
DeleteAre you saying that he was helped by his enemie who is Mencho? Or was his capture made possible with the help of Mencho?
DeleteEl abuelo& mencho r compadres mencho took him out from prison to work to together el abuelo flip on him betrayed him,
DeleteNope negative it was magallon that ripped off mencho and la Mensa took it out on the whole crew
DeleteI don’t understand why some news outlets always say narco-drones or narco-mines. Just say drones and mines.
ReplyDeleteto me 'narco-drones' is better because they are being very specific on who is behind using the drones.. anyways just a thought and i appreciate your feedback
DeleteGood point Char because there's a lot of dumb people who will ask who used them the military or the narcos
Delete@Char thanks!
DeleteI think narco drones is a good term as it indicates to us readers that it isn’t a Mexican Military drone and it isn’t any of the Predator and Reaper drones getting prepped to assasinate the Salazars, Valencias, Guzmans, Leyvas, and Mencho.
Soon, we might see some sort of US drones (likely surveillance type), Mexican Military drones, and of course the narco-drones, akin to narco-submarine. The narco-drones I have seen so far are modified versions of FPV consumer drones like the ones used by Ukraine.
Good stuff at any rate. Thanks again Char.
@10:51 Then it's narco soap,narco toothbrush,narco tires.
DeleteBro, I honestly can’t imagine being a civilian in Mexico. Imagine driving every day and having to worry about landmines on the roads. That’s crazy dude.
ReplyDeleteSome years ago I remember seeing a story about a rancher in Michoacan who died after stepping on a landmine.

Delete10:48 you should not think to mutch about mexican mines in mexico...more like about us army mines in iraq, afghan, syria bla bla bla....ohh yes Vietnam...people dying fron them even today overthere.
DeleteBeen going every year to Mexico for past ten years. Had no issues.
Delete'more like about us army mines in iraq, afghan, syria'
DeleteI was waiting for some false claiming 'mi lindo mexico' bitch to pipe up.Where do you live crying arse the U.S. And the comeback im in Mexico

DeleteSounds like this giuys life aint going the way he wants, not another whining hater
10:48; True and good point - but you’d have more credibility if you didn’t front like you were Juan Esparragoza Moreno
DeleteDon't the CJNG fangirls claim El Abuleo is protected by the military?
ReplyDelete1218 fangirls are unique to CDs. CJNG fanboys dont deny the shittyness of theyre cartel. CDs fangirls claim they are the good cartel when in actual fact they are no good just like CJNG. CDs = fangirls get your pom poms kid.

ReplyDeleteThis is where LaMasakr3 gets his information from.
RIP soldiers and RIP to any innocent civilians who might end up driving on one of these narco mines themselves. I honestly can’t even imagine being a regular civilian and having to drive on a road that could potentially have a landmine. That shit is terrifying.
ReplyDeleteI feel like that El Abuelo has done this multiple times and was able to blame Cjng. It seems like most mine explosions have around his turf
ReplyDelete10.48 If your a civilian in mexico and a local you will most likely know where not to go. Coming from me who visits Mexico often I been lucky to not ever seen anything crazy. Just a couple times some caravans and I was on a area known for it so it wasn't surprising. Mexicans think the same about the states. Saying the living in the US must be crazy with mass shootings and gangs
ReplyDelete314 You are correct. People think every area in California is like skid row. New generation cannot reason. I question family Mexico if they would allow their kids to attend US Universities. They say know because of school shootings. Times I hang out in their small town you have punteros with also riding around on bikes while i am eating some mariscos or tacos.
Delete"Allow" their children to attend universities in the U.S.? 🤣🤣🤣, as if the choice was just willy-nilly; more than half the youth out there has trouble making the grade out there, with much lower admittance standards. Very interesting how some people people just love coming up with half-assed hypothetical scenarios, in which they passive aggressively try to defend the indefensible 💩 situation in that country. Sure, it's no fairy tale out here, but it's far past a country mile from being anything close to that disaster of a country. But thank you kindly for the laugh Mr. 😂
DeleteIf it really is the tepeques doing it they fucked themselves, right now the only reason CJNG hasn’t went in to tepeque to get el abuelo is cause the Mexican military has been protecting him. Makes no sense though on why he would have done that.
ReplyDeleteright. The commander of the 43rd military zone takes protection money from El Ebuelo and R5
DeleteI thought this guy was leader of Cartel United or something like that ?
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Mex. government has no drones, but cartels do.
ReplyDelete11:12 - The Mexican government does have drones ( including drones that the Mexican military themselves have created ), but for some reason they never use them. It’s the same thing with grenade launchers. The Mexican military has under barrel grenade launchers that they themselves have created, but for some reason they don’t give them to their infantry. They just keep it in a warehouse. They also have a remote control turret system that they built years ago for their Sandcats, but they never use them.
DeleteCont'd
DeleteThey also have monster trucks, they themselves created, but they are in the warehouse.
They also have Presidential planes that ALMO wanted to auction, no one bought them, they are in the warehouse.
They also have Bunker bombs, they made themselves, but also in the warehouse.
12:42 - Bro, if you don’t believe me you can just search for these things online. The name of the remote control turret system is called Saraf Balam. But they also have a Saraf Balam 2, which shoots 50 cal rounds and can shoot 40mm grenades. A couple of the drones used by the Mexican military are the S45 Balaam and the S4 Ehecatl. They’ve actually sold some of these drones to other countries militaries like Guatemala and El Salvador. As for the under barrel grenade launcher, I believe the name of it is LX-12.
Delete12:42 - I don’t know why you’re taking the piss when all those things that the commenter at 12:04 mentioned were true. Mexico’s military has begun developing their own firearms, drones, vehicles etc. They want to be self sufficient and not rely on other countries for weapons. Plus, it’s cheaper to make your own weapons than buying them. But it honestly does kind of sadden me to see them develop their own weapons, but not actually give these weapons to their soldiers. They just keep them lock up in a warehouse and never use them.
Delete@1:28 That’s actually kind of cool that Mexico has begun developing their own military equipment. But I don’t understand why they don’t allow their own soldiers to use these weapons against the cartels. Maybe they fear that these weapons will fall into the hands of the cartels.
DeleteThey also built porta pottys, that explode, once they are full.
DeleteThe mexican army wld sell their drones to the cartels. Thats what they do
DeleteYeah I can see that being the reason to lock everything up. I’m sure they’d sell everything that isn’t bolted down so to speak.
DeleteGTFO🤣. MEX has yet to engineer even just rudimentary armament like firearms from start to finish, much less anything in the avionics department; if they build anything at all, it's not without the schematics and technology that they have to knob gobble other countries for. You never hear of Mex boasting about their modern technological marvels in defense, and that's because they haven't got any. 🤦♂️😂
Delete12:41 - What are you talking about? Have you never heard of the FX-05 Xiuhcoatl? That’s a weapon that was created by the Mexican military and is literally the standard rifle for the Mexican military. And if you’re going to bring up how its design looks similar to the G36, just know that Heckler and Koch actually tried to sue but weren’t able to because although the exterior of the gun looked similar, the interior of the gun was completely different from one another. They also have a history of firearms from the past. Ever heard of the Mendoza HM-3 submachine gun or the Obregón Pistol. Plus, I already named you a bunch of other inventions by the Mexican military in my previous comment, so go ahead and provide me any evidence that those inventions weren’t actually created by the Mexican military. Just cause Mexico isn’t bragging or boasting about their creations, that does not mean that they’re nonexistent.
DeleteYou clearly failed to understand what was said, he clearly stated that Mexico can't manufacture these things without the schematics of others. You have no proof that Mexico designed and fully engineered any given weapon, not too mention you shot your own load straight into your own mouth, because no one that designs anything from start to finish ever gets sued, clearly because it would be unique intellectual property. Educate yourself a bit better before attempting to embellish on a half ass conjectures. Mr 402
Delete4:14 - I clearly said in my previous comment that Heckler and Koch failed to sue. They had tried to sue because the exterior of the FX-05 looked similar to the G36, but when they actually took a look at the inside of the FX-05 they realized that it was completely different from the G36. As a result, they were not able to sue since the FX-05 was a unique intelectual property of the Mexican military. As for schematics, the design of the gun from start to finish was created by Mexico’s DGIM in collaboration with Mexico’s CIADTIM (Center of Applied Research and Technology Development Military Industry) led at the time by Brigadier General industrial engineer Jose Antonio Iztiga Landeros. Jose Antonio along with General Alfredo Oropeza Garnica were the two leaders of the FX-05 project. Once the design of the FX-05 was finished, it was then manufactured by the Mexico’s DGIM (General Directorate of Military Industry) through their military factories. All of this information can be found online. But if you or the other commenter have proof that the schematics came from other people or other countries and not from Mexican engineers of the Mexican military, please provide it. I would love to see it.
DeleteGeeeez you really have a hard on for semantics. They got sued! Irregardless of whether they won in defense or not. Like the guy said, if something is a complete original design, you will never be sued, or even attempted to be sued because there would be absolutely no grounds to sue upon for an original product, weapon, design, etcetera... Your reading comprehension is abysmal. 🤦♂️
